Or the least known places, because they could be hidden gems, unlike the famous places which rely only on few sites there. Rather I would look out for villages, where I can see the enjoy the nature much more better than the concrete land. Seeing animals in zoo and seeing them in their habitat is different experience.

Looks like it's in the Eastern half of the US so nope. I've only been to the US once and that was in the Western half.

No. I should consider myself lucky that I evaded it despite getting injured many times when I used to play sports at higher level.

I've fallen off yeah. Not sure about falling with speed. Bikes tend to balance themselves in motion. Most of my falls come when trying to break or coming to a slow.
