    Should i get? My godfather is going to get me a grad. gift soon and i think im gona have him get me a DS and one of the games (D P PL).

    So which one to get? I like Palkia better, but need more input before i choose. Like whose the legendary in PL? i forget lol
     
    Get Plat. The legendary is Giratina, and I think you can get Palkia and Dialga in it. As well as the legendary birds, etc. Platinum is the pinnacle of Pokemon games. ;D.
     
    Platinum Platinum Platinum! As of Wednesday last week, i have all 3 games, and Platinum is the best. You can get all the legends, Palkia included (and the Kanto Legendary Birds), and the Battle Frontier is really wicked. Not to mention that Platinum was €10 cheaper than Diamond and Pearl, for me. Also, Platinum has a better variety of Pokemon available before the National Dex. In DP, the only two fire types were the Chimchar evolutionary line, and the Ponyta line, nowhere near enough. In Platinum, there's more, like Magmar, Flareon, and more. Platinum is basically for all the stuff that Nintendo forgot to put into DP. It's just.. Better! So..
    Go with Platinum.
     
    Just get Platinum. Its the updated version of Diamond and Pearl and has both Palkia and Dialga in it. Theres also more pokemon in the region and more things to do such as the battle frontier.

    Theres more areas and things to do in it, plus some gyms have changed. There is also the different forms of rotom.
    Platinum is better than diamond and pearl, there is way much more in it.

    If you can't get Platinum, get Pearl. I think it's slightly better than Diamond.
     
    Get Platinum! As...
    1.There are many legendary pkmn to catch;
    2.Giratina has two different formes;
    3.Rotom can change form;
    4.New battle facilities in the Battle Area;
    5.Much more better than Diamond and Pearl version (I think...)
     
    Everyone knows Pokemon Platinum is better than Diamond and Pearl! So get it!
     
    I concur, you must get Platinum, it is far better. You can get more Pokemon, even the Legendary Birds.
     
    You should definitely get Platinum. It is better because it has combined both of the other two games, and when you defeat the Elite Four you can get both Dialga and Palkia. Another plus is that you can also get the three legendary birds roaming the region afterwards too.

    obviously Platnum
    cause its the latest one out
    and it has way more freatures than Pokemon diamond and pearl
     
    It's better to start off with one of the old ones. Platinum is unexpectedly hard and may do trouble with trainers. But if you don't care, Platinum is yours!
     
    You should absolutely get Platinum.You get a shot at Giratina twice.Once at MT. Coronet and if you fail to catch it you canhave another crack at Turnback cave.Also later on Dialga and Palkia will be there when you fil a certain amount of requirements in the game
