out of the ones revealed so far, I'd have to go with Ultimate Chaosmon. However, I imagine Gaiamon would've been pretty damn powerful.... it'd be nice if they released a card or something already, or at least reveal what its design would've been like in some art book.
Hey no one knows the beauty of ANUBISMON AND RAVEMON
beauty and strength are two completely different things. This thread clearly asks for the latter.
i still think the strongest are crimson gallantmon, omnimon, chronomon holy mode , belphemon , susanoomon, malomyotismon, imperialdramon paladin mode , DEMIVEEMON , alphamon , chaosgallantmon , arrmegeddenmon , imperialdramon fighter mode , beelzemon blast mode , the legendary worriors , magnamon because hes cool , zeedmilleummon , aplocallymon , darkdarmon.
Dukemon Crimson Mode: Yeah, there's no denying he's pretty damn strong (one of very few Digimon in the card game with an attack power of over 1000, actually). However, I don't know if he's exactly the strongest.
Omegamon: I don't quite get the inconsistency between him and Imperialdramon Paladin Mode. Clearly, the former fuses into the latter, and when the latter premiered, it was able to easily kill an opponent (too easily, just by poking its snout) that Omegamon didn't stand a chance against. However, later in the franchise, it seemed they portrayed Omegamon as the stronger Digimon. For that matter, Imperialdramon PM is just the founder of the Royal Knights while not actually being a member (almost as if he's old news), whilst Omegamon's portrayed as one of the strongest RKs. Either way, they both seem outclassed by Alphamon (the leader of the Royal Knights).
Chronomon Holy Mode: Maybe... in Digimon Story, they state that it's one of a kind (though, in the sequel, you can Jogress into it), and it's one of the few confirmed Digimon of the Super Ultimate level (not even Digimon like Omegamon, an Ultimate that clearly "evolves" from two other Ultimates, has been given this classification).
Belphemon: No. Leader of the Demon Lords, sure, but when you get your a
ss kicked by Shine Greymon Burst Mode, you have no right to claim the title of strongest. Plus, much like Alphamon, some of the other Demon Lords could surpass him (especially Lucemon Falldown Mode, who can progress to Lucemon Satan Mode).
Susanoomon: See Dukemon Crimson Mode.
Belial Vamdemon: Killed by the hopes and dreams of little kids and a single Giga Death by Imperialdramon Fighter Mode. Next.
Imperialdramon Paladin Mode: See Omegamon.
Chibimon: You're mad. Culumon is clearly superior.
Alphamon: Leader of the Royal Knights is pretty impressive. However, some of the other Royal Knights may be capable of outclassing him through obtaining the X-Virus or Mode Change (which leads to "see Dukemon Crimson Mode").
Chaos Dukemon: If its non-corrupted counterpart has a Crimson Mode that increases its strength significantly, what makes you think Chaos Dukemon stands a chance? To put Chaos Dukemon and Dukemon Crimson Mode in the same strength category is essentially the same as putting Dukemon in with his own evolution.
Armaggemon: Killed by Imperialdramon Paladin Mode.
Imperialdramon Fighter Mode: As I was saying with Chaos Dukemon (or rather his counterpart), he has a further Mode Change which proves to be significantly stronger than it.
Beelzebumon Blast Mode: Mode Change of a Demon Lord. However, he still seems to pale in comparison to Dukemon's Mode Change.
The Legendary Warriors: These guys got their a
sses kicked by Lucemon.... when ganging up on him altogether. Not only that, but the card game indicates that the Advance Hybrids seem stronger than them (ironic, as the Advance Hybrids recombine the two Spirits that they originally split into only to end up with a different form; on a side note, is Bandai ever gonna release the Advance forms for the evil Hybrids?), let alone the Zeta Hybrids, and especially Susanoomon.
Magnamon because he's cool: First of all, you made this thread to discuss the strongest, not what you think is cool. Second of all, Magnamon is the only Royal Knight who's not even an Ultimate. The Digimental of Miracles is supposedly very powerful (although, that Maildramon at the beginning of Tamers proves this isn't always the case), but I think it's safe to bet that he's one of the weakest members in the RKs. Besides, in 02, he struggled against Chimeramon (a Perfect who's occasionally classified as an Ultimate), and probably would've been killed if Wormmon didn't sacrifice himself, and he also struggled against Cherubimon while teaming up with another Gold Armor Digimon.
Zeed Millenniumon: I wouldn't doubt that Millenniumon's quite powerful, especially in his final form. A worthy contender in the end.
Apocalymon: The anime seemed to portray Diablomon as a tougher opponent than him. He probably would've been a much more worthy opponent if the anime didn't pull
idealism over realism (which is especially prominent in the earlier seasons), and you can't say "no" to a culmination of every dead villain that was fought before. But in Digimon Tamers (which is very much "realism over idealism"), he seemed outclassed by Omegamon. I'm also tempted to bring up Digimon World X (or Digimon World 4 in the western release), in which Apocalymon is the first area boss in the game (first boss often accounts to being weak), and capable of being killed by a Child-level with a sword (but that's an aspect of the game most people might ignore, especially when Child-levels aren't that much weaker than Ultimates, and a rather random Perfect is on-par with several of those Ultimates).
Darkdramon: aside from a "Bio" version of it being defeated by Shine Greymon (and not even Burst Mode for that matter), he's apparently a counterpart to Bantyo Leomon (who seems strong, but not that strong). For that matter, it and Bantyo Leomon can fuse into Chaosmon, which can fuse even further into Ultimate Chaosmon. When you can still evolve twice, I don't think you should be called "strongest", especially so long as your two evolutions aren't excluded.
