...Oh snap, I did miss quite a few things. Sowwy. XD

Oh yes, I've thought Sevipers rocked ever since I caught Poison.. Plus, ever since you helped me with making her an all-purpose sweeper my love for the snakey has swelled. XD

I'm just going to delete my earlier inefficient IC and replace it with this one, which is pretty much okay since there is no other IC at the moment:

IC:

Kayley tilted her head as the boy approached them, cutting into their conversation and apparently accepting Maxie's challenge.. And Maxie told him she and Fang would fight. Especially Fang.. He seemed to want to prove himself.

Kayley gulped. Why did this guy have such a feeling of weirdness around him? It made her want to walk away, but now that Maxie would be battling him, she wanted to stay, just to make sure things didn't turn out badly.

Fishy seemed to merely sit there on the floor near Kayley, although it was clear that he wasn't blanking out, but he was thinking about something.. No doubt about smoothies.

As for Razz, she was reminded of Trainee Amelia. Not presence-wise, but the fact that this boy seemed to be looking over the group intently. And when he observed her.. She immediately saw the look of distaste on his face.

Thoroughly offended, she narrowed her eyes and was about to shout something about whether or not he had a problem with Ponyta, but realized that she didn't have the time to do so because he had already stated that Maxie should go to an arena near the Eastern route if she wanted to carry out the battle.. Before walking away.

"That was strange.. You sure you want to battle, Maxie?" Kayley said, speaking up at last.

She had felt strangely afraid of that boy.. Just his appearence was enough to startle her more than the first time Hazy had leaped out at her.

OCC: Fuu... um, Alter, I know Nigina's not his name... Zachary was referring to the name just being interesting... XD He doesn't know what kind of pokemon it is, so he was commenting on the name it had. Perhaps I should have made that clearer. ^-^ *adds "for a pokemon" to Zachary's comment*

And yes, all Fire Emblem games rock. *nods*

Zachary
-----------------

"A secluded arena? Well he certainly doesn't want anyone else watching...," Zachary said, folding his arms, "I would do it. I know it sounds crazy, and I don't trust him either, but I would at least want to find out what he really wants with me. He picked you out of all of us Maxie, that must mean something. He could have just walked up to us and asked to battle anyone, but he wanted you."

Ron looked as worried as the others. He had wanted today to be fun; not dangerous.

Luka snorted, {Pfft, he's an idiot if he thinks he can expect to get away with something underhanded with a large group like this.} Ron looked over at her. She did have a point; what powerful pokemon could make someone feel strong and confident enough to take on a whole group of trainers?

OOC: Eh, actually I was referring to Charon's post, Melissa. There was this part that read something like; '...Fang couldn't see the writing on Nigina's shirt...' Maybe I should have made myself a bit clearer. XD

{ooc| Oh noes, not another roleplay... can it wait until the 17th of december? xD That's when I'll get back from Germany. I like to be here from the start, otherwise I loose interest.
Anyway, IC time... my fingers are still cold from walking around town. Darn you, fashionable fingerless gloves!
And sorry about the confusion, I'm not that awake tonight...}

As Fang translated Ashura's words, Maxie's expression grew more and more sour. The mantis pokemon spoke sense, that was for certain. She had never really taken to other people, and the circumstances definetly did seem suspicious. Then again, it was broad daylight, and Fang could fly faster than any pokemon he knew. If it was a trap - maybe to hold Rai hostage, or steal his rare pokemon - Fang could fetch help before the purpitrator could get very far.

"It could very well be a trap... or that boy might just want privacy. He's a shady looking fellow, that's for sure, but what could he really want from us?" she rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "He might just be after a nice, clean battle, without any distractions. We shouldn't really judge him."
Maxie couldn't really figure out why everyone was so wary. The boy had been polite enough, and it wasn't as if he was dressed in a bandit's mask and a stripy black-and-white outfit. Then again, she couldn't read the words on the t-shirt.

Fang grinned at Chupon. {I'm gonna fight that guy no matter how scary he is!} Fang proclaimed, beating his wings. {I want to prove... to her...} he jerked his head in Ashura's direction, {that I'm not weak.}

Maxie smiled sadly. She very rarely saw Fang full of such confidence. Pokemon normally reacted to being mistreated in one of two ways; either they turned vicious, short-tempered and wary, like Ashura, or they grew cautious and self-doubting like Fang had. It was a shame only proving some one wrong spurred Fang on in this way; rarely did he throw himself whole-heartedly into battling before. He had once or twice, one time, Maxie remembered, was to prove to a beedrill oral-based posion was better than stinger-based poison.

Maxie looked up at Zachery's comment. "You're actually right." Maxie said, in a suprised manner. She then blushed. "I mean, of course you're right, that was an extremely valid point!" Maxie stared at her shoes. She couldn't help being snobbish, despite her haphazard upbringing, and she was under the impression anyone from a council estaste was as uneducated as herself.
"I'm sure, Kayley." Maxie told the girl, putting a reassuring hand - very lightly - on the girl's shoulder. "I'm determined to do this- Zachary's only made me want to compete more."

{ooc| Gaaaaaaah, so slow....}

OOC:

*pokes Poetry section, then actually types IC.. XD*

IC:

"As long as you're sure." Kayley replied, nodding once at Maxie. "But you've all made very good points.. I guess that guy could have any one of those intentions." She concluded, smiling a bit.

"Well, I kinda have to get my things back in the room before I go anywhere.. I'll be right back!" Kayley announced, immediately dashing off in the direction of the room she had shared with Jena and Rai.

Fishy dashed off right behind her, staying near her feet, although not too close so as not to get trampled, while Razz stayed behind and snorted, not really feeling like tagging along while Kayley got her stuff.

OOC: Gee...thanks for the heads-up, Charon. 'Oh noes, not another RP...' XD But yeah, it can wait, and it will probably have to wait. I'm thinking that I'll start it out once I've finished most of my schoolwork, particularly the dreaded Physics test. @_@ The only topic is 'Waves' but we've got soooo little time to study it and there's so much to learn. Fascinating stuff, but so bloody hard. >.<

Sooo, I'm thinking that the starting date will be somewhere between the 19th (the day of my Physics test) and the 22nd (The day my Christmas holiday beginns), when it exactly happens depends on my mood and how much work it takes before I'm satisfied with the plot. ^-^

IC:

Ashura frowned at Fang's statement, although unlike before it wasn't one of as much distaste like before. The need to prove oneself was a concept that was familiar to the mantis pok?mon, all too familiar, and she could understand it well, even if she didn't agree with it anymore, and certainly didn't appreciate the sentiment behind the Zubat's words. {I used to think like that once...} she said, {That there was nothing more important than proving that I was stronger than others...stronger than anyone else. I learned my lesson the hard way.} her frown deepened just a bit, {I doubt that you will heed my words though, I know I didn't listen to the one who told me that back then. But do remember, the actions that you take often have far wider consequences than you think, and you would do well not to anger one who is beyond your powers to handle.} her gaze turned distant for a moment, what looked like the tiniest hint of sadness appearing in her expression before it was replaced by the Scyther's usual scowl, the mantis pok?mon turning her attention back to the trainers and their conversation.

"True." Rai concured with Kayley's statement, "We can't know for sure until we see for ourselves. I mean, we could have this guy pegged all wrong."

{Yes, he could be worse than he seems...} Ashura commented in a definitely cynical voice, {Let's not forget about those mismatched pok?balls on his waist. Why would he maintain one in such pristine condition while the other is so worn? And what of the 'V's on those two other balls? Mark my words, there is someone far more powerfull behind that boy, and they probably won't be too shy about backing him up.}

Rai sighed, "Ashu, you're always so negative." he said, shaking his head, "I mean sure, the thing with his pok?balls is strange, but it doesn't really prove anything, does it? Besides, it's the middle of the day and we're six against one. We can always break through to the town if things get out of hand. Besides..." he added, smiling slightly, "I don't think Maxie is going to back down any more than Fang is."

{ooc| *laughs* I didn't mean in that way, Alter. I'm more than happy to sign up... after the 17th. I'm so busy/tired/fed-up with things right now I'm really not interested in starting yet another roleplay. I'll feel differently once I'll FREEEE of school, though.
Anyway, my IC will come soon....I'll edit this post in about half an hour...*more slowness*}

If Fang had possessed eyes, they would be wide in confusion. Did his ears decieve him? Was Ashura...sad? Fang shook the feeling off. How proposterous!
{I don't want to be stronger than anyone, but.... I want to protect Maxie,} he told the mantis in a low whisper, {and I want to keep her safe...} his face was set in grim determination. Fang's own memories of their childhood were blurred, but Maxie had always taken the blows for him. He could remember that much. Maxie had always said she had no fear, as long as Fang was with her. What a peculiar thing to say, Fang had always thought, when she was the one being brave. For a moment, Fang simply watched Ashura, his ears pricked as high as they would go. {I want to be as strong as you. I want to be your equal.} he told the bug-type defiantly, puffing out his chest. He expected some sarky comment in return, but Fang didn't care.

Maxie hadn't been listening to Fang; she watched Kayley head back to the room, feeling apprehensive - but desperately excited.
"Are you guys all okay with this?" she asked. "I...don't want to drag you guys into something you don't want to do. I really want to fight this guy..." she trailed off. "I'm not sure why, but something about him attracts me and repels me at the same time..." Maxie trailed off. She was certain she had seen the stranger some time before... but when?

Ooh, the 19th ish meh last day of school.. ^^

Awesomest.

IC:

It had only taken a few minutes for Kayley to reach the room, which was a lot faster than the time it had taken to reach last night, considering how she had been following a girl who had no idea where the rooms were.

After getting the door open, she immediately rushed into the room, her Mudkip still on her heels. She didn't want to hold anything up, so she made sure to make short work of locating her things and picking them up from their place on the floor.

But while she was doing that, she swore she could hear a faint sound from outside.. No, it wasn't the buzzing Zach had heard earlier.. No, she thought she could hear a tree crashing in the distance. What?

Kayley immediately ignored the thought and allowed Fishy to jump onto her shoulder via her trumpet case again.

"Did you hear something, Fishy?" She asked, not being able to resist asking.

{Yes, I hear a blender somewhere, making a smoothie. You know, the one that you so rudely refused to order?} The Mudkip retorted.

"Ugh, I'll get you one later, I promise!" Kayley exclaimed, shaking her head before running out of the room, back towards the sitting room. She would just have to find out about that tree later.

"Okay, now we're all ready!" Kayley exclaimed, once she had gotten to an appropriate distance for the others to hear her.

OOC: Oh! I don't know why I assumed you were talking to me Alter. Is that selfish or what? ^-^;; I think it's because I have had to edit my posts so much lately I just assumed I would be doing it again... XD

Hooray! Tonight my Japanese class is having a fun night! Our teacher said it was to be a surprise... and we're allowed to bring snacks! =D Always a plus.

Though a couple other classes of mine had snacks today... I've already eaten two cupcakes, some Hershey Kisses, potato chips (sour cream and onion flavor!), and a Cherry Coke. X.X I'm full!

Oh, and Physics is evil. And Physics exams are nothing short of evilest of the evil. *shudders as she thinks of last semester and Physics* And my last day is the 15th. Fweee! ^-^

Zachary
-------------------

"Nah, don't worry about us Maxie, I think we're pretty strong as a group. Ashura over there could probably take on the guy's precious Nigina all on her own. Plus the way he looked at all of us... well, let's just say I feel insulted even though he didn't say anything. I want to see you beat him. Let's just hope we are wrong about this guy," Zachary expressed, sighing. He was hoping that whatever was going to happen was going to happen quickly and with no complications or serious injuries. He waited a bit in silence as Kayley went to her room to get some things.

{Hey Zack?} Ron said with a smirk, {Aren't you still in your clothes from yesterday? Didn't you sleep in them, and then storm out of the room like a stupid git before you had a chance to change?}

Zachary looked down at Ron with a frown, and then down at his clothes. "Crud. Hold on guys... I've gotta change. Thank you so much for pointing that out Ron... and in such a feeling and kind way as well," he said, adding a sarcastic tone at the end for Ron.

He ran to the room and quickly got dressed in a similar outfit that he had worn before. Though his shirt this time was a dark navy blue, and he put his jacket back on as he raced back down the hallway and up to the group.

Ron laughed as he saw him. Zachary always looked so out of place. Luka continued with her usual scowl.

"Guh... it's tiring trying to dress so fast...," he panted, smiling at Luka's scowl, "Anyway, I'm ready too."

OOc-
But..I like driving your poor sticklerish mind over the edge,Titan.XD
Naw,okay,I'll go and edit all the posts I can find.^^
Another RP?o.O
Just when my holidays are ending.XP

Like,sourcream and onion flavour,yessh,tis nice.Though,I prefer the Original.^^

And,tha new dude with Nigina,if he ain't Slythe,sounds like he's related the him in one way or the other.-_-
*gaspen*
His son?!XD

Over-active imagination.Okay,me shall shut up now.^^

Ic-

Something about the boy that proceeded to walk up to their group,made Jena lose ther ability to speak.Perhaps it was that look in those misty grey eyes,or the purple colored hair,even the unreadable red words on his black shirt added on to the creepy effect.Okay,and that metal chain was no help either.Overall,Jena had a strange feeling about this boy.

{I don't like the way he looked at me.Not nice,the way he looked at me.}Orjen was practically shivering on the spot,all six hands together.The look on the boy's face,seemed like disgust when he moved to the Wurmple,like,he was just some weak bug pokemon.Well,actually he was,but wait till he evolved into a powerful Dustox like his uncle!Yeah,he could definately beat the Spinda out of whoever Nigina was.

{He looks evil.}Cascade glared at the boy as he took note to glance at him and Fishy.Though,the Ralts beside him shook her head.

{I have a strange feeling about him,he,he feels rather odd.}Ryne stared at the boy,who still had yet to notice her.

Jena could only bite her lip as Maxie accepted his offer to have a pokemon battle,in a secluded area.And,she wasn't the only one who had suspicions,though,it didn't seem like she was going to get her voice back.

Finally though,the boy decided to walk off,allowing the girl to breathe right again.As Kayley dashed but down to their room for her stuff,Jena turned to Maxie as the girl asked them whether they were okay with her battling.

"Uh..I wouldn't encourage you to.But,you should trust yourself,so,guess I'm kinda fine."Jena managed a weak grin as it was Zachary's turn to go to his room and get changed.

OOC: Dang, how come all of your holidays start before mine? It's no fair. xP

Anyways, I was just kidding Charon, I know that wasn't what you meant. ^-^

And yay for Japanese class fun night! ^^ Man, you're lucky Melissa. I'll be buggered the day I see any of our teaching staff (Especially our Physics teacher) let anyone take anything edible into the classroom. Not the IB way I'm afraid, although we will get to watch a movie during our last physics lesson. Only we have to be able to find physics in it. I agree, Physics tests...blah, the only thing more evil than physics tests is physics lab reports. I really couldn't care less about the error margins of some trivial experiment which will never have any impact on anything because it has already been repeated countless times, yet still I have to write a good pagefull about everything I did wrong during the expriment. It's kind of depressing...-_-

Oh, but sour cream and onion chips? Ohh...those are my favourite! ^-^ Mum won't let any into the house though, says they're too fatty. <_< Pfft, and still I remember my grandparents lamenting that I was too skinny and didn't eat enough...ah, those were the days...

Yeah, another RP. But your holidays end at the 19th of December, Yibber? No free time over Christmas Eve/Day? Kind of makes me glad that I don't live in Singapore. Anyways, think of it as a bit of compensation for having to start slaving away at school again while my term is just ending. ^-^

As for the new dude...(Hey, has anyone else noticed that nobody's even wondered what his name is? XD) Well, one of the Viper recruiters found him in a rather shabby orhpanage when he was still a small kid and liked his attitude (Major people hater), so he decided to integrate him into the team. He doesn't know, or care, about who his parents were. Take that as you will, what connections he has or doesn't have to Slythe shall be revealed in the RP, and until then I shall torment you by keeping you guessing. XD

But yes, he does bear a certain resemblance to Slythie, no? Only a good bit more cynical and life-hating and quite a bit less insane. XD

IC:

Protect her? Ashura echoed in her mind, casting a surprised glance at the Zubat but not commenting. The way the Scyther had seen it, it was Fang who was always in need of protection from his trainer, not the other way around. And the mantis pok?mon had simply assumed that he was an utter coward who would never even consider the safety of anyone but himself, yet here he was, claiming with such conviction that he was striving for the very same goal that Ashura was, to protect his trainer at all costs.

{Equal, is it?} she asked, keeping her voice neutral, {Perhaps you will be, one day...} she replied at last, a very faint smile crossing her features for a moment, {But if you do, don't let the power get to your head.} she didn't elaborate on her words however, falling into silence instead and hoping for the first time that her suspicions of Maxie were unfounded. Fang did seem to hold an honourable cause, despite how he might have acted otherwise, and the Scyther disliked killing honorable people, there were far too few of them in the world already. But if that was what duty demanded then she would do it.

"You do what you have to do." Rai replied to Maxie's question, nodding, "I have to admit that I have some reservations about this as well, but it's allright, I'll be there with Ashura and Chupon to help if things get ugly.

{Don't be forgettings little Kaika!} the Vulpix in his arms interjected in a voice that sounded scared and determined at the same time, {Kaika can be roarings at the meanie Nigina!}

{I-I'll just go with Thunderpunch like I always do, I suppose...} Chupon commented, doubt clearly evident in his expression.

OOc-
Bah,you drink milk/carrot juice.Not fufilling enough,eh??XD
I eat what I eat,anyway,badminton helps me keep fit.^^

And,niah,the government ain't tha bad.My holidays end on the 2nd of Jan.^^

I have bothered on what his name is!Just that I didn't want to speak up ish all.I was like-'Gah,what's his name?!*checks post*Oh right,no name yet.*writes,'the boy' **one paragraph later*What's his name again?'

Bah,its getting tiring,writing-'the boy' over and over again.-_-

Ic-

{What can we do,to help if 'things get ugly'??}Orjen asked Cascade and Ryne,who merely gave me a weary looks.Even with all the training,they,just like their trainer,were really clumsy with battling.Tripping over anything they could,or,for Cascade,tripping over air.Orjen wasn't a great addition either,he hadn't even trained with them,once.

{We could run around screaming like idiots till people start arriving,yes??}the Mudkip suggested,only to receive a tired sigh from Ryne.

{We'll only do it if it has to be done,right now,we should be hoping that no more than a battle takes place.}she said simply,turning to Jena and hugging the girl's leg.

"Don't know what I can do,but,I'll be there!"Jena scratched her head with one hand,before giving Maxie a small smile.She knew she'd never be able to battle,not even to save her own life.Okay,maybe the girl knew a few moves,but that was it.

{ooc| My holiday starts the day of my birthday - the 16th. By then I'll already be in Germany though. We're leaving 10 o' clock on the Thursday night, and Dave (a friend) has decided that there will be a 'no sleeping' policy on the coach. Very fun... xP
Anyway... we're allowed to eat in maths, last lesson me and my friend were eating chocolate butter icing. In case you've never had that.... it looks like crap. Very tasty though ^^;
Yay Yibber, I play badminton too!
I used to be able to eat what ever I wanted and stay as thin as a stick, but this year I've actually started putting on weight. It's not paticularily visible but I still tip the scales a bit too far to the right for my liking...
Mind you, it's not all bad. I know actually possess a chest. Whoooo!
I still eat a hell of a lot more than my friends. Walking to and from school, and walking the dog helps keep me fit. I still think being slightly fat is better than being anorexic; a girl in my school died of anorexia.
Which I spelt wrong.}

Maxie watched everyone disappear off to get changed. "Well... I only have one change of clothes on me..." she sniffed herself tenatively. "heh, it'll last another day or so." Maxie knew perfectly well you can't smell your own scent. Hundreds of times of times in the past, she had decieved search dogs that were looking for her by wearing their blankets over her head. She often spent the rest of the day reeking of growlithe, but at leats she had got awya then.
All she could smell on herself was denim, so she assumed she was okay.

Maxie rose to her feet, shouldering her rucksack. "I'm ready.. I think we should leave now, so there's no chance of it getting dark before the battle ends." she glanced to Fang, who was talking to Ashura. He didn't look up. "I mean..." Maxie ploughed on, "He seems okay, but we don't want to take any unnessecary risks."

Fang nodded at Ashura's words. {I wouldn't. Never. Power is something you could only use to protect your loved ones...} at this he glanced at Maxie, but she had already turned away. {...And maybe get revenge...} he added, in a stonier voice.

OOC: Pwhee! Tis' finally done! ^^ Eh, my first homemade T-Card that is. Yup, all done by me. *Ish all proud of himself* I was stupid enough to accidentally start off a new game and save on my old one a few days back before I even acknowledged that I had done so. So I had to start out afresh (Not that I ever got that far) and my only trained team members are Bubu (the Quirky Mudkip XD) and Tazu (the Brave Dustox). I'll update the card whenever a notable change happens. ^^

Anyways, I meant why any of the actual characters haven't wondered about the dude's name. I mean, if a random and weird-looking stranger just walked up to me and demanded a battle I'd sure as heck want to get his name at least. Apparently our chars don't feel the same. XD Anyways, I know it's tiring to write 'the boy' over and over, so next time they meet, how about someone just asks for his name?

And you're so lucky Charon (Well, except for the 'no sleeping' bit maybe XD). The only reason I don't have to go to school on the 22nd is that we're pulling a sneaky trick on the mean old education system on the day before by having a 'school activity' that stretches beyond midnight, which means that we technically had school on the 22nd. ^-^

Anyways, I agree. Being overweight is better than being anorectic (Eh...not sure if that's the right term). It's apparently very difficult to get someone suffering from anorexia back into normal eating habits due to the simple fact that their bodies can't handle the food properly anymore. Scary bussiness...@_@

Meh, I'm doing fairly well in the weight department, myself. Sure, I eat quite a bit, but we use plenty of spices in our household, and spicy food fills a lot faster than regular and makes the process of becoming hungry again slower. Plus, I take out the dog regularly, go to school by bike as long as the weather allows it, and have my jujitsu practices to keep me fit. ^^

And congrats on possessing a chest...erm, hope that didn't sound too suspect. XD

Anyways, IC time...

IC:

Rai nodded, "Very well." he replied, walking over to the pok?mon center door and opening for the others, gesturing for them to go before him, "Ladies first."

{An understandable sentiment...} Ashura replied, nodding at Fang's words, {Hopefully one that will remain. Power has a way of changing people that I am not fond of...but we should go, your battle awaits.} she walked over to Rai, shaking his head as the boy held up the door for the others once more then proceeding through to wait on the outside, technically she was a lady after all.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Sickening..." the stranger who had challenged Maxie muttered, glaring at the pavements of Azure Town as he stalked through it, the city limits already visible in the distance. The way those rookies acted and thought. They were naive fools just like all the idiots he was forced to share his agegroup with, complete amateurs who still acted pompous as anything, thinking that simply because they had managed to nag mommy and daddy into buying them a pok?mon it made them trainers, and master at that. He spat at the ground, earning a reproachfull stare from an elderly lady who was walking down the street and instantly returning it with a practically ferocious glare of his own which caused her to flinch and step back a bit before hastily making her way elsewhere. The boy merely glared after her as she left. That old hag had never been forced to endure what he had, had no idea of his feelings, of his motives, why should she be in any position to judge him? Why should he care about what she thought? In fact, why should he care about what any of them thought? They were all the same. Naive fools who thought that they could change the world for the better. But that wasn't how it worked, you don't change the world, the world changes you and all you can do is either embrace that change or struggle against it and be destroyed. And only a fool would choose the latter.

The boy strode into the clearing in which the arena was located, kicking aside a few pesky branches and sitting down on an overturned log nearby while he waited for his opponent to arrive. He had done this countless times before, challanged an unsuspecting rookie to a battle and swiped the pok?mon, clearing the scene before the fool knew any better. This was just a job like any other, and one he would be glad to get out of the way.

He lifted up his left hand in front of his face, examinig the peculiar glove on it. It seemed a bit too large for his hand and was a metallic grey in colour, strange circuits and nodes cris-crossing across its surface and snaking their way up the whole device, which actually covered a good bit of his arm. It was a snag device, and a new model too. Although why they could not simply make the pok?balls work for snagging straight off instead of forcing people to use such conspicious devices to activate them the boy didn't know. But then again, what did it matter? His sleeves were long enough to conceal the device from view until it was too late for the victim to do anything. If people trusted their senses like he did then they might have suspected something by the mere look of the boy, but they didn't. It was ironic, but the very trait in humans which the boy despised the most was the very same that guaranteed his livelyhood...people's surprising capacity to avoid unpleasant thoughts.

{ooc| Awesome t-card, Alter! I'm going to have to request one, me thinks...

Anywho, in my house we eat english food. VERY fattening. A lot of shepard's pie (potatoes, mince meat, vegetables), we have fry-ups and a roast every Sunday. We have foreign food as well, but I still love local cuisine. Luckily if you're brought up on it your body adapts to cope with the large amount of starchy sugars and protiens you ingest. Yay!

My school's pretty awesome. It's quite lax dicipline-wise, but everyone seems to get the grades they want. The buildings are all falling down, too, due to lack of funds, and our computers are all beyond it (one restarts if you bang on the table too hard) but our teachers are dedicated and we get home-made food at our canteen, unlike a lot of schools.

Being too skinny scares me. I mean, how are you meant to fight off scary men in alleys in you only way five stone? xDD You also are invisible to the opposite gender, as I have come to find... Most of my male friends seem to be pulled like a magnet to the busty girls... darn them... *throw shoe*
And what's Jijutsu? Doesn't jutsu mean technique in japanese?}

Fang nodded at Ashura's comment. {I'll bare that in mind.} he leapt into the air and glided over to Maxie's shoulder. He landed with a soft thump, and snuggled close to his trainer's neck. She rubbed him behind the ears and he chirruped.
"You sure you wnat to do this?" she asked.
"yup." the answer was immediate. Fang's face was set in determination.

Maxie nodded at Rai and the others.
"Kay. Ladies first.... sure..."
She stepped outside into the bright morning sunlight. Dew still clung to the grass, glittering in the light. She glanced back at the center expectingly, but only for a second. She couldn't help scouring the horizon, looking for her strange challenger. She saw him no where.

OOC: Wow... foods from other places! ^-^ I like food too much. Though, I'm not too overweight, I'm like 15 pounds or so over my ideal weight based on my height and bone structure. How do they measure weight for people over in England and the other places you guys are from? I can't remember... ^^;; Anyway, America is most definitely a place to see lots and lots of junk food. I mean, my household isn't complete without 2 bags of chips and candy.... I try to eat fairly healthy, but it's a bit difficult around the holidays, seeing as candy and cakes and such tend to be everywhere.

Oh... and America has a million bajillion fast food places too. How many are in your guys' towns/countires? Just the medium-sized city I live in has like I'd say about 40. And that's just an estimate... XD

Heh, I know what you mean about boys and the area of chest size Charon. >_> In High School I once caught my brother's friends talking about my chest size (I have more chest than I both want and need, it's genetics and my love of cake combined -_-). ... That was scary. You never want to find your brothers odd friends talking about you like that. Unfortunately, guys never went out with me based on my chest size, they would just talk about it with their friends in a large male discussion of girls with big chests. o.o;; I think I was too smart and intimidated them or perhaps they were just stupid. They wanted their big-chested women to be clueless and popular. I, on the other hand, was really smart and very shy. ^-^ With a semi-large chest. X___X

And Alter... Charon's chest congratulations was very suspect. Verrryyy.... ^-^

Well... onward with the RPing:

Zachary
=================

"Yeah let's go! This whole waiting thing is making me anxious," Zachary said, walking out the door too. Ron was following close behind, and then leapt up onto Zachary's arm, causing the boy to almost fall over.

"GAH! Ron!! What're you doing?" Zachary choked, trying to regain his balance, "Warn me when you do that... kay?"

Ron nodded, {Whoops... must've forgotten. Heh.}

Zachary raised an eyebrow, "Heh...?" Ron shrugged.

Suddenly the faint buzzing sound became a bit louder, and Zachary whipped his head around again to find out where it was coming from. There was nothing he could see though, and ignored it. Ron gave him a funny look though. The little Aron could tell that Zachary was confused about something, and it was confusing him as well.

Luka followed at Zachary's heels, she didn't want to miss this guy get taken down.

"What kind of person introduces his pokemon with a name but leaves us guessing his anyway?" Zachary said aloud, suddenly realizing that the shady boy never actually stated his name. That was a bit odd. Then again, what wasn't odd about that guy.

OOC: Eh, thought I'd break the ice about his name. ^^ Also, great T-card Alter! I had half a mind to make my own when I wanted one, there aren't too many great shops out right now that won't take a month to do... but I was satisfied with Kaneda Morsepeed's.

I have a question though... where do you get the backgrounds for the pokemon?

{ooc| I love food too, especially potatoes, kiwi fruit, oranges, sherbet and lollies. xD Not so much chocolate because I have a bit of a lactose allergy. Sweet tooth, yesiree. Here we have pounds and stones, but I don't know how much I'd like to weigh. A bit less, really. My drama partner complained yesterday because I was really heavy, so I stood on his foot. Ho ho.
My house is full of fruit (yum), potatoes, bacon (YUM) and lots of chocolate mousse. That's my other favourite food.

Here we have... Um... One fast food resturant. xD Maccy D's, macdonalds to all you unspecial people. We have two bakerys though, that do cornish pasties, sausage rolls, and pizza bread. Oh, and LOADS of coffee shops. My favourite is Cafe' Monde, it's below ground. I love my town, it's pretty nice. Very historical too.

My best friend is like... Pamella Anderson... chest wise. All my male friends watch her run and laugh their asses off, which I find mean. ??; They all talk about her infront of me, and then look at me expectantly, as if expecting me to be all... grooooow.
Anyway... I spent too much time writing and now I must depart. curses.}

OOC: Eh, all this talk about food made me so hungry that I had to go upstairs and eat some bread. Mmm...bread...^-^ Not just any bread mind you. I'm not sure what it's called in english but as far as I know they only make it in Finland. It's kind of dark brown to grey in colour and quite hard, especially at the edges, stays edible for months too, which made it very popular during the times of war and famine around here. It's real tasty (only needs butter or possibly a bit of cheese imo) and it's high on fiber too so it's healthier than regular bread. Ah...it's the one food I miss when my family is travelling.

Anyways, yay for your capacity for injesting starchy sugars and proteins, Charon! ^^

And low school funding...boy, I'm glad I've nver had to experience that. Although our school building is far from ideal though. You see, it was originally built during a time when oil (The kind that is used for heating) was very, very cheap around here, so some smartass figured they could cut corners by neglecting to build in isolation elements into a majority of the walls. But in this modern day and age, I think you can understand that sitting in one of those classrooms when it's - 15 degrees celsius outside is not exactly the most pleasant of experiences. It got so bad at one point that a lot of us had to sit in class in full winter attire, and I have to say it's pretty dang hard to write notes properly with a pair of thick gloves on. <_< Luckily, they finally got the renovation going on, unluckily it meant that the 9th graders (To which I belonged at that time) and a few unlucky others had to be relocated to temporary 'pavillions' (Or as we students quite accurately dubbed them; Barracks) located on the school grounds. Now that was one jolly year...-_- Although on the plus side we did get quite a bit of excersise and learned how to get about the grounds fast. Anyways, I'm still in the same building, even though I've officially changed schools. And wouldn't you know it, the very first year they had to renovate again. >_< Apparently there had been some major damage caused to the building by moisture gathering within the walls (Why they didn't fix that during the last renovation is anyone's guess, my bet is on that they were too clueless to check <_<) and some pretty serious fungal issues. And of course, in the IB it was the 1st graders who had to be relocated to the barracks. Yaaay for the barracks! -__-

Anyways, it's all in the past now and the IB teachers are all great, except for the ones which we are sharing with the national stream (Also located in the same building).

Ond the skinniness issue, well, my advice for handling scary mean in alleys would be to kick them in the groin as hard as you can and then run off screaming at the top of your lungs. Not the most heroic approach perhaps, but certainly quite efficient. If you are wearing shoes of suitable mass or shape, stamping on their toes is always a lovely alternative, and the eyes prove another worthwhile target, particularly if you've got long nails. >D

As for the male gender's attraction to girls with large...tracts of land. Eh, thats their hormones talking...From my insider's point of view, I can safely state that most boys in their early teens really do talk about that stuff...a lot...kind of reminds me of a certain female gym teacher we had. Honestly, she was showing some stretching move or the other and a whole group of boys from my class were just staring and discussing her posterior...and which teacher they would prefer to...engage in reproductionary rituals with. Bleargh, those were things that they really did not need to share. *Throws an old boot at the people who filled his mind with disgusting images* <_<

Oh, and Jujitsu (Basically translates into; Soft Technique or Fluent technique) is a form of martial arts which is primarily defense based. The standard variety mostly focuses on practicing a wide variety of basic techniques for many situations; straight out kicking and punching, a bit of wrestling, basic weapon training, throws, chokes, and locking techniques of different kinds, disarming, fighting many opponents at once, fighting unarmed against an armed opponent, basic first aid, stress managment and situation solving/avoiding are what I can recall straight off, there could be more, though. ^^ Anyways, the one which I currently train is the Brasilian variety, in which the emphasis is on bringing your opponent down to the ground (Throws, sweeps, dodges etc.) and finishing them off there (All kinds of wrestling type skills, chokes, and locking techniques). Overall, it's also a more informal style (In the regular, you have to bow every time you enter the room, every time you step on the training mat, every time the sensei shows you a technique, every time you start or end a practice with someone, and long bows at both the beginning and the end of each lesson. I swear I still keep bowing occasionally when I enter a room. XD) and generally has a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Plus, twice every year we get the former world champion, Alexandre Paiva, over to teach for a week, which we wouldn't get in the regular style. I've already got four stripes in that one, five being requried to reach the next belt level. Although I doubt I can get any further without 'going pro' so to speak, because if I remember correctly then you have to start entering competitions before you can reach the more advanced belt colours. The only way to become a blackbelt is to beat an existing one in competition. I don't mind though, I do it more for fun and excersise than anything else. ^-^

On the subject of fast food...well, we don't have very much of that over here in Finland. It's mostly McDonalds (Big surprise -_-) although I think we don't have more than like one or two in any given city, and they get scarce indeed once you get out a bit further from the Helsinki area. We've got the occasional small-time fastfood places like Hessburger too, but they don't really have much of a market share. Oh, and we measure weight in grams kilos around here. I always do forget that they do it with other untis elsewhere, and of course, I have absolutely no idea of what the correlation between a gram and pound is for instance. Go me and units! XD

As for the backgrounds, I got them from the same place as I got the materials for my template. They're all from a bunch of screenshots I took from an Emerald rom and copy/pasted to suit my preferences. The one behind Bubu is the graphic of Extreemespeed, and the one behind Tazu is from Silver Wind (Took me forever to get that one -_-), and the background-thingie in the T-Card is from Thunder, although I moved the clouds a lot closer to each other. Anyways, thanks for the positive feedback on the card from both of you. ^^

Anyways, I'll add an IC soon, but there is a warm sauna calling for me right over there. ^^ Ahh...I can't understand how you people can survive without the sauna...it's so nice and relaxing...good for the skin and the circulation too, apparently, and it works wonders in healing mosquito bites and other annoying little ailments. ^-^

"That's a good question, actually." Rai replied to Zachary's comment, stepping out himself with Kaika, who had now had enough of being carried around for a while, and Chupon on his trail, after having made sure that everyone else was on the other side, "But then again, none of us introduced ourselves either." he added as an afterthought, "But admittedly, it is strange that it didn't seem to bother him a bit." he shrugged, "Maybe he was just too shy to ask. He didn't really look like the type who spends a lot of time with other people."

He took a fresh look at Azure Town, this time taking in its appearance without the interference of rain. The sizeable river that had been wrapped in such strange fog the night before looked far calmer now as it glittered in the sunlight, although the boy could have sworn that there was a slightly peculiar odor hanging in the air around it, slightly reminiscent of the smell of spoiled eggs, although of course, that was not a smell that Rai was overly familiar with, although even he could feel the slight warmth that the water seemed to emanate into its vicinity. Kaika certainly did so as well, smiling as he walked closer to the river bed, basking in the increase of heat that it granted. Rai had no time to ponder the peculiar river however, Maxie still had a battle to finish after all, and he felt that he needed to be there for her.

Dudes,tha's a lot of out of character.XD

Yayness for food!
I eat whatever I want to eat,or whatever I can find in the fridge!Randomly,I love potatos too,Charon!!^0^
Though,they shall never replace the taste cheese and calms have given me.Okay,now,to confuzzle your brains,I shall tell you Singapore's most popular dishes,some are in the Malay language,or Indian,or Chinese or one of the Chinese dialects we have here!>D

Roti Prata-like,one of my favourites,even though its fattening with loads of oil.(which I am eating right now.^^),Laksa-Oh so spicy and nice!Hor fun-A type of noodle,Gui Tiao-another type of noddle,Mee fun-yes,another type of noddle.XD.And Ba Gua(kind of roasted pork or something,which doesn't really appeal to me.o.0)
Tha's all I can think of now.

Okay,on skininess-ness,here,we weigh by kilograms,I keep on asking my friend's whether I'm fat-
"For the last time,you're not!Stop asking us that!"
Kay,another method of annoyance.XD
One of my friend's called me...Aneroxic,or something,something.XD

The boy's in my school,they keep to themselves,other than when we go out for movies and stuff.So I don't really know what's going on within their sick heads.Cept,some are really..weird I would put it.Coming up to random girls and saying that they like them.o.O
Unfortunately,I am one of them.Four boys this year have already told me that they like me.Which is REALLY freaky(but Feebas flattering ya know?!XD).And,like,2 or them told me by messaging my handphone while the other two on MSN.o.O

And,my school,facility wise ish okay,cept that people vandelize the walls by kicking them and leaving black marks.Bah,my school's only 6 years old.Though,I'm leaving it this year.

Titan makes Jujitsu seems kinda nice,though I don't think I could ever take it up,me be sticking with my trusty racket.Badminton helps develop strong arm muscles I use to whack people who say Feebas are ugly/make me angry/I feel like.XD
I'm being taught by a great coach,she was like,representing her country when she was younger in doubles,and she came 2nd place in the whole world.Yup.^^

Oh,and great trainer card Titan.
A Dustox?Bah!Beautifly's the way to go.XP
But,I shall not question your decision,I guess.^^
Still,Vuvu pwnz.>D

"Thank you."Jena said simply as Rai opened the door for the girls,her pokemon following behind her.

The girl breathed in the morning air,scenery looking rather quaint,maybe she was wrong about it being polluted like she had stated the night before.But,there was still a certain odor in the air,which questioned her desicion otherwise.
-----
{Look,zey've finally come out!}the Tailow gave both her parents quick hugs before preparing to fly down to meet the pokemon and their trainers.

{Cupcake,are you sure you want to zoo' zis'?!}her father immdiately grabbed one of the Tailow's wings.The Tailow snorted,she pulled her wing away from his with a surprising amount of force.

{I'll show you two,tha' I can fly,when I come back,I shall fly higher zan' both of you ever will.}she turned away from them.

{Well then,dahling,you'd better get going right?}the Tailow's eyes lit up,turning to her mother,who merely nodded and gestured to the group with one wing.

{I won't let you zown'!!}she chirped,jumping off the branch.
----

"Okay,so where are we headed?"Jena asked the rest,before noticing that a Tailow had swooped down from a tree and landed on her shoulder.

{Ello'!}the Tailow bowed to the girl and the rest.
-----
{You're sure zhas' ze right thing to do?}he asked his wife,who merely sighed as she watched the Tailow land on Jena's shoulder.

{I'm sure Tania dahling will do us proud.}

NYYYYAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!

My internet went bonkers! I was home all day and couldn't log on! I HAD TO SUFFER!!!!

*dies*

But on the plus side I drew my team and didn't really turn out that bad.. XD

Wow.. You guys talk alot.

Lesse.. I like food too. Pasta.. Pizza.. Potatoes.. A lotta stuff that start with 'P'.. Chocolate above all.. Dang, I eat everything, man. And I always walk it off at school. XD

Seriously, one year I lost 5% of my total body fat JUST AT SCHOOL. O_O

Tee hee. Based on my height, I'm about five pounds overweight, but I don't mind.. As long as my threats get across then it's all good. XD

Moving on to the discussion of hormone-ish boys.. Gawd.. Last week the boys in Band were daring each other to ask out randomly selected girls in our class..

Bet none o' you can guess what Plushie did to the guy that even dared to ask her out. >D

No, I didn't have my Bubu clones with me, sad to say.

As for the state of my school.. As long as those airheads who stoop to a low level like vandalising stay away from the bathroom ceiling, my school is pretty much kewl. ^.^

But anyways, time to catch up at long last!

Kayley hadn't said much, just nodding at a few comments, especially when Zach mentioned that the boy they had met earlier hadn't mentioned his name.. But she didn't linger on that thought, instead choosing to remain quiet and stroll out of the Pokemon Center like everyone else, welcoming the feeling of the sunlight.

But much like Zach heard his buzzing, she seemed to be the only one who noticed the crashing of trees somewhere in the distance..

I'm not hearing things, am I? Kayley worriedly thought to herself, absent-mindedly stroking the silently scheming Mudkip on her shoulder. She was snapped from her thoughts as a random Taillow swooped down onto Jena's shoulder.

{No comment.} Fishy said firmly, although a hint of annoyance was in his voice.

This was about the time that Razz strolled out of the door behind Kayley, glancing at the surroundings for a moment before noticing how Kaika seemed to have wandered over to the river. Frowning, she slowly wandered over to the river a few ways away from Kaika, staying there for a moment before walking back to where Kayley was.

{Yes. Quite nice, quite nice, but I do believe that we don't have the time for such things.} Razz stated.

"Um, okay then.. Isn't that the Taillow from before?" Kayley asked Jena, speaking up at last.
