FireRed hack: Pokemon Fire Red v514 [COMPLETED]

Hey I'm glad you're enjoying the rom !
You can actually check the Pokedex file in the Downloads, it says where you can find every Pokemon.

For Phione, you will need to breed Manaphy with a Ditto :)

You need to download the rom patch of the latest version (6.0). The file format is .ups
You need to download NUPS patcher.
You need to apply the patch to a Pokemon Fire Red 1636 Squirrels .gba rom.

You can check the "Downloads" section in the initial post for the links :)

2. Download a Pokemon Fire Red 1636 Squirrels.gba rom
3. Download NUPS patcher
4. Using NUPS, apply the ups patch to the fire red 1636 squirrels rom
5. The patched .gba rom will be your Fire Red 514 rom
 
This is going to be really dumb question, but how do I use the DexNav? I didn't play any of the new games, and the game told me I should have it at the very early stages, but I can't figure out where it's supposed to be, or how to use it - just pressing the R does nothing.

Otherwise, the romhack plays wonderfully, I just wish I could figure out these new additions.

Have you tried opening the menu and clicking the right button?
 
Yeah, I didn't see that at all - I've just ignored the icon, it didn't occur to me that I could use the D-pad for that.

Now I'm facing only one more problem - the trading related evolutions - I've seen Gengar in one of the screenshots somebody posted above. I only wish I knew how on earth one achieves that - I've looked up a method using the randomizer, but didn't work for me (instead turned my Nidoqueen into Nidorino), so I'm wondering if there are any new options for this within this rom that I'm just not aware - most of the custom stuff is new and overwhelming to me.

Hello, for all trade evolutions you can use an item called Link Cable (use it like a stone). You can buy it in the Celadon City Dept. Store. Don't hesitate to join the Discord if you have other questions (I check it more often than here).
