Wonderful update! I had to log in to lend my appreciation since ER has held me together through tough times. One must also appreciate it on technical and game design levels, seeing how it puts so many theory-crafted ideals to paper, which is in this case a janky old GBA ROM


I also have to ask: what's next? I don't just mean that from an Emerald Rogue perspective, but from a community perspective. Where do we go from what feels like perfection?
To be bold enough to make a suggestion before the undisputed Queen: could overworld encounters feasibly become more variable e.g. with unique behaviours and spawn points? Maybe more scripted events can happen in-route?
Whatever you do next Abbie, you've gotta know that I, and I would imagine the rest of the community, are super thankful for the TLC you've put into this project! We'll be eagerly awaiting the next juicy drop, and if it never comes, we'll be playing Emerald Rogue anyway!
