FireRed hack: Pokémon Team Rocket Edition: Dragonsden Version (complete Kanto and Sevii included, Johto release in April)

I beat Oak. Can't wait when the game comes out (hopefully) in July, and I can finally show that old lady on Four Island the Pokemon I need Waterfall to get.

Difficult, should be done back and front sprites, mini, surf, bike etc... for each of the five ranks. Probably edit a lot of history staff, maybe do a male rival instead of Andra... For the moment i'm 100% focus on the main story and english translation, with that two things, i'm done yet 🤣.

If you have the last version, should appear a text option, to skip the next scene so you can continue the game. If you don't have, you can wait for a minute, and maybe the freeze stops, or you can update to the last version, deleting the old .gba file and placing the new .gba in the same folder (with your old .sav)
 
Oh yeah. This might be answered later on in the story, but there was one part of the lore of this game that was kind of odd.

Anyone knows where to get TM 30 Shadow Ball?

I don't have a special ghost type move for my hisusian zoroark and can't find it anywhere, since the celadon game corner doesn't let you get TMs from them as a rocket..

Its during the late game lavender mission, (trying to avoid spoilers). I remember wanting it myself because I wanted ghost coverage on my umbreon.
 
I just wanta say I am so stoked that you translated this. Thank you for all your hard work. I have played Rocket Edition thru at least 10 times and have looked and looked for another good Team Rocket game and this one was always recommended but it was in Spanish and I always hated I couldn't play it. I'm downloading and patching now so can start playing it immediately. I'm already looking forward to your next translations for Johto and beyond. Thank you again for all your hard work on this game and the translation. I'm ready for this epic adventure you've created and to see what this game holds in store.
 
First off, thank you so much for translating this! I just recently got into ROM hacks and this is by far the most fun and in depth one! So, thanks!
My question is about Heracross. Without spoiling much, I know Andra and Blue have one. Where can we catch one? It was my favorite Gen 2 Pokemon back in the day.
 
Oh yeah, is Daisy ever gonna show up again? It's kind of weird how Oak's daughter and Gary's sister just disappears from the plot after the first time she fought the player.
 
Just to let you know the link for the walk through is not working curiosity would you by chance be interested in the idea of putting a way to track like the side quest and everything that you get it would be very useful in keeping track of where you're supposed to be going and also is it right anyway chance anybody has a list of the places to go once you get the 8 badges for the people who want to talk to a person who has 8 badges I can't for the life of me remember where they are I know one of them is The chef that wants to make you a special meal but I think that's in the sevii islands but that's the only 1 I can remember

Best rom hack I've ever played, close to end of current version. Was curious if porygon3 is obtainable or z for that matter. More or less solo'd the whole postgame with porygon2 and X Special Attacks lmao

I finished the game and didn't document everything but found some stuff here and there.

Pokémon names: Hypno&, Crobat♂-&, and Rhyper&. Are these supposed to have an X or Y at the end of their names, like NidokingX, Taurus-X, and Magmortar-Y? Maybe I don't get the reference, but why the & symbol?

Sabrina's Gym statue has an "y" instead of "and".

WINNER TRAINERS:
BLUE, RED, ANDRA y [Player Name]

1. Daisy is called Dalia during battle.
2. Morfeus is called Morfeo during battle. Morfeus is what is written on the Gym Sign outside his gym.
3. One member of Team Magma is called Tatiano during battle and should be called Tabitha according to the story dialogue.
4. Team Aqua is called Silvina in dialogue, it should be Shelly.
5. Team Aqua Matt is called Tolo during battle.

I don't know if there are more beta Pokémons found in Johto and Hoenn, but it would be great if they were translated instead of simply using their romaji. Bomushikaa to Bomsheal (Pokémon Reforged Space World 1997 translated it as such). More details of these beta Pokémon names can be found on The Cutting Room Floor website.

From the context, it seemed like "&" forms are like an ascended form that Pokemon can reach with the aid of their bond with their trainer (Like Morfeus' Hypno), whereas the X/Y Pokemon are an artificial means to ramp up their powers. If I had to guess the distinction between the latter 2, I'm guessing it's a similar affair to the Gen VI Mega Evolutions, where Charizard X and Mewtwo X are more physical-based (like Nidoking-X and Tauros-X), whereas Charizard Y and Mewtwo Y are special-based (like Magmortar-Y).
Looking at the Obtainable Pokemon file, however, it looks like Pokemon such as Crobat& or Hypno& are meant to be read as "Crobat: Bond" and "Hypno: Bond". I didn't get it first, but if you look up "ampersand" in wiktionary, you get the example sentence "The ampersand character in many logics acts as an operator connecting two propositions." So I'm guessing that the thought process was "This form is brought about due to the bond between a Trainer and a Pokemon, thus the symbol that represents the connection between these 2 is an ampersand [&]."

Okay, now it makes sense. Still, Crobat♂-& should be corrected to Crobat&. Its the only one thus far that's different and it looks like a typo. Still, I would prefer the usage of a "+" after the name for all the "&" forms. Example. Crobat+.
 
When does the DLC come out in english as ive completed kanto and sevii and cant wait to see the johto story line, and is there a way to continue my save with the dlc or am i going to have to start over?
 
Can anyone help? When I load the gba rom and the zip patch file , it keeps making a txt file.

I then extracted the patch file and then added the bin file inside instead and still does the same. Help please I have the correct rom and this patch from this page in zip format and extracted
