Being a new generation means there's also more mystery, and that means that we can't easily expect much until more info keeps dropping.

New generations always have more speculation than middle and end of generation games. So we'll take whatever it is at this point to continue the hype train.

I'm guessing it'll be akin to the infamous video of Groudon and Kyogre, but the way it's worded almost makes it seem like they'll be showing gameplay.

I'm stoked either way. Especially since corocoro is the week after (although they may just repeat whatever is shown in pokenchi. .)

If they're showing footage and will be talking about it, I suspect we may get boxart with the mascots sometime within the next few days, if not during that show.

So it appears to be S/M related after all... I'd love to see how advanced the graphics have gotten with this new generation, and maybe hoping for some new Pokemon to be showcased in the gameplay footage that'll be shown. Given CoroCoro will be dropping the week after Pokenchi goes to air, I imagine this section will be busy with all the news that's going to come out.

I remember that was the case with the Direct that announced X & Y. It showcased the mascot legendaries, the starters and in-game footage of the protagonists (Calem and Serena) walking around.

Some of the Katakana on that purple screen title seem faded. I originally read it as Game noriku while the second one I could clearly tell said Game freak.

What makes it even better worse is that the 1st falls on Friday. . .exactly 1 day before the footage airs. . . . It's also likely the video could appear online before that, so I can totally see the real footage appearing on the 1st and everyone dismissing it as a fake.

Man, I actually kind of look forward to april fools this year.
