Intro
Hey, it's been a while. I'm sure nobody expected to see me again.
In my typical fashion, I've kept the development of this game well hidden. Nevertheless, this is a complete game with 8 badges, and plenty of post game content. This is not a remake of Gold and Silver, but a sequel with an entirely new story.
Fair warning – The gym leaders use items and some setup moves making this game moderately difficult, but not impossible. If you defeat all available trainers before each gym, and use a little strategy, you should be fine.

Synopsis
Travel back to the majestic lands of Johto through the perspective of a young boy or girl from Cherrygrove City on their way to becoming a great Pokémon Master!
Set 20 years after the events of Gold and Silver, you will meet many old and new characters along your journey, as well as unravel more secrets of the region. Discover a wide variety of pokémon and a brand new storyline, as your path becomes intertwined with a mysterious group calling themselves Team Phoenix, who seem hell-bent on capturing Celebi for some nefarious scheme.

Bugs
- Game freezes after falling down with Oliver in the Ruins of Alph: Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Hisuian Zorua and Hisuian Voltorb currently don't evolve. Fixed in v1.1 patch
- Galarian Weezing (maybe others too?) seems to break double battles a little (the sprites will flip around some, not game breaking, but looks funny)
- Mega evolution symbol will stay on screen after the mega pokémon has fainted sometimes. Goes away after battle, or if you view your other pokémon
- In the multi double battles, if all of your teammate's pokémon faint, it may not let you switch
- Galarian Yamask can't currently evolve to Runerigus. Fixed and re-uploaded v1.2 patch 7/3/24 (Galarian Yamask just needs to sustain 49+ damage in battle, uses max HP - current HP formula).

Download
Current version attached below as a zipped UPS patch. Apply to a clean Pokémon Emerald rom, Emerald (U) (TrashMan) using NUPS patcher preferably.

If you are on an older patch, you should be able to keep your save file!
Make sure to keep your .sav file, and replace the .gba file with a new one that was patched to a clean emerald rom. Also make sure the new .gba file has the same name as the old one.

You'll find the move relearner at Ecruteak. Whitney is tough, but getting your Pokémon to level 30 or more and with some resisted types can do the trick. What's your team?

Great it's on the next city 😭 My team is composed of Whirlipede, Heracross, Grotle, Quilava, Prinplup, and Staravia. I'll just grind my brains out for levels. Thank you for your answer I appreciate it 💖💖💖

You get the item finder in Olivine, after that search the routes before Olivine and Ecruteak for bottle caps and Ilex Forest for mushrooms. The number of exp candy you can get is pretty limited (at least till the point I've played). Cianwood gym is my next stop and I feel I'll need to train a couple extra mons for it, I'm dreading the grind. This rom would really benefit from infinite candies, I'd even accept a level cap at this point, as long as I didn't need to grind so much.

No infinite rare candies or set level caps, but you can buy some rare candies late in the post-game.
If you battle all available trainers before each gym, then you shouldn't have to worry about grinding.

I have to grind still for Wataru, his Gyarados and Lanturn Beat up every member of team even my Pikachu I got from the Game corner

Poliwag is only found by surfing on route 30.
You can catch Poliwag using the old rod in Violet City though. It has a 30% chance of appearing with the old rod.

I found one just outside Goldenrod towards Ecrutek or how ever it's spelt.

is kanto in the game or the pathway in the Town Map is just for the accuracy? Also is there anyway to get more copies of the same TM? Because no reusable TMs in a gen 8 game is kind of confusing.

I see what you did, there are some null spots below the beach chairs so that the people sunbathing don't look like they're standing on top of you. I guess that allows you to walk onto the water too.

Finished my second playthrough with a Mono-Ghost type team, and had a great time! I Although, I do feel that expanding the number of items the bag can hold would be a good move as I found myself tossing out items when my PC got filled up. Eagerly waiting on the Nature mints update!

I could expand the bag, but would have to make more room for save data, which will corrupt your save file, guaranteed.

Sloo does that mean tm's in this game will never be reusable? Maybe you can watch a youtube tutorial of how to make them reusable?

There's a tutorial on the github wiki. I might try it again at some point, since I understand C code better now than back when I started.

Mew does have a shiny palette, so it should have a shiny form.

Doesn't look like it can.
Ice stone isn't a bad idea though, I think I'll add that in.

Yes, you can get Thunderwave from the old man in the left house up on Mt. Rage.

Earthquake is in the Whirl Islands, in the spot that you can see as you're going down towards Lugia. If that makes sense.
Psychic is in the Ruins of Alph, it's in the outdoor area near the grass.

Cuirrently in the process of growing the EV reduction berries. Kinda wish there was a dedicated berry farm, theres not enough large berry plots to get enough of the rarer berries.
