Anyone have an idea how trade evolutions work? I'm looking to get a gengar and I haven't been able to find anything on this thread for it.

You need a trade stone, look at the item sheet that you can download in the first post for locations of the ones you can find as items. Then there is the option to purchase them in the post game, but you can get a couple trade stones before the pokemon league. The first one you can find is at the Ruins of Alph once you get the ability to surf as you will have to go through union cave to get to the specific entrance to get the trade stone.

I haven't tried cheats, so I don't know.
As long as you keep your .sav file, you should be able to replace your .gba file with a new clean rom that has been patched with 1.1

I'm actually doing another run right now to test the wild poke levels, and I don't know if my team just sucks this time or what, but I could not beat Alicia.

Huh, was I the only person that didn't have too much trouble with alicia? my team was quilava, corvisquir, and whirlipede and it was fairly straightforward. The sylveon in particular was annoying but poison tail always did more damage than its repeated healing. Ironically im having a way tougher time with whitney
 
cool hack. currently trying to find a Mareanie, but I don't seem to find it anywhere.
the Excel file didn't help that much either.
 
hey !! just wondering but what's the rarity of karrablast holding a metal coat ? i've caught probably over 30 of them and not a single one is holding it :( or like where is the one in olivine alternatively ? i looked everywhere and couldn't find it

They're only in the underwater caves, like where the fossils are found.

Sorry if the spreadsheet is misleading. The trade pokemon in Olivine is holding the Metal Coat, they don't hold them in the wild.
Have to trade for a Shelmet, so get one of those instead.
 
Hey @Sloo, I clicked on the shrine in Illex and triggered the ??? Character but I can't still get through the forest.
 
Just finished the game and post game. I Really enjoyed it. It has been a long time since I last played a rom hack that played and was written like it could be a traditional mainline game nice job!
