FireRed hack: Pokémon Radical Red (VERSION 4.1 RELEASED! Gen 9 DLC Pokemon, Character Customization now available!)

Hello Soupercell, I love your game btw. Im still playing it after elite 4. Now I want an Infernape but it seems like the old man from Celadon is not giving any chimchar. Am I just unlucky, or is it not possible to get a chimchar in that place?

It's random chance to get it from the Fire Starter eggs. Just stockpile a bunch of Red Shards, go to him with just a Slugma (for the egg hatch reduction) and get five eggs each time.
 
I want to do a mono-type dragon run. What's the earliest possibility of getting a Dragon Type?

From what I can see, it's Noibat in the Mt Moon basement area at Night. Of course, the Egg Vendor in Pewter could give you an Egg that hatches into a Dragon type. I would probably save before talking to the Egg guy, and then hatch the egg. No dragon? Reset and hope it turns into something else.
 
First of all: this is one of the best ROMs I ever played.

I wanted to ask you if is it possible to evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowking since I couldn't find him on the Evolution Changes list. I tried to use Stones, Link Cable and King's Rock but nothing seems to work.

Also, I noticed to small Bugs:
The first one is in the pokemon centers. Regardles of Weather you change a Pokemon's nature ir not It will tell you that the nature has been changed. The second bug happend when I reduced some HP EVs. The Pokemons had the HP as "previous Max HP/current Max HP" on the team menú and the health bar extended from each pokemon's box.

Keep Up the good work. This ROM is amazing!
 
I love this mod, been playing none stop for days since getting it. That said, I was wandering with regards to the cinderace sprite from the perspective of the trainer (backside), if I could perhaps create my own take for it. Moreover, if it were to pass in looks if it could be implemented into the game? If so I would benefit heavily knowing the dimensions of the previous Cinderace sprite, so that I could make a proper alternative sprite to the pre-existing one.

This is kinda annoying because I need to level them more in order to defeat Brock and with the upped difficulty lvl 15 ins't enough for any water or grass types to take down the gym. I believe that's not a glitch, but rather an intended game mechanic. I haven't read the full documentation abt this hack, but it's supposed to have several level caps along the game precisely to prevent overleveling.

Yep, according to the "Additional features" section:
"Similar to Pokemon Clover, there is a soft level cap based on the next boss battle. Many "challenge" hacks can easily be beaten by simply spamming turbo boost and overlevelling. This prevents you from doing so, instead allowing you to reevaluate your team and strategy to defeat bosses."

Pokemon Radical Red choose-my-team

Ever since I played this hack for the first time a few weeks ago, I knew I'd go through multiple playthroughs. This time though I'd like to have my team picked by someone alse, to spice things up a bit.

Rules:

  • 10 Pokemon, each person gets to choose one
  • You may also choose up to two additional characteristics about the Pokemon, including its item/ability/nature/ev spread/one of its moves/whatever comes to mind
  • I get to refuse up to one entry in case I don't find it fun/I've already raised the pokemon with a similar build/it makes the team very unbalanced

The hack is not a breeze to play through, so please be fair, though I sure don't mind more obscure picks.

Been playing and enjoying this hack, thank you for you work.

At the risk of sounding petty, I want to point out a few grammatical errors I've noticed in the game:

It, obviously, is [NPC after leaving Pewter]: either make it It's obviously or Obviously followed by a comma;
Convinient [NPC in Cerulean]: should be convenient.

I've noticed a few other mistakes, but these are the ones I remember.

this is probably the best romhack i've played. that said, i do have one complaint. the guy who maxes your iv's is a little expensive. even with the amulet coin and doing every den, you'll only have enough money to max the iv's of 2-3 pokemon assuming A. you beat it in a couple days, meaning the dens don't reset much and B. you don't buy a pokemon at the game corner. it leaves you at a distinct disadvantage for pokemon mirror matches: my dragapult never once speed tied an e4 dragapult in spite of max ev's because of both this, and the fact i had choice scarf on someone else. it's such a small problem in an otherwise perfect hack, tho. definitely just me nitpicking. 10/10

Well, a good way of making money is taking a Pokemon with Frisk for its ability and can learn Thief (I recommend Farfetched) and you then farm Meowths for Nuggets, Maractus for Terrain Extenders, and later on, Pellipers for Lucky Eggs. There's also farming colored Shards as an earlier game money farm.
 
Hey Soupercell I'm currently developing my own Rom hack and am basing it off Fire red but want Gen 8 Pokémon but I dont have the Money to commission someone to make sprites nore the ability to do it myself. Do you think I could use yours if I give you full credit? I could not pay you or anything but it would be a huge honor if you would let me use yours.
