FireRed hack: Pokémon Gaia Version

So is there any news already on the next version? I have been playing this game a while ago and I can't wait for the game to be completed.
 
This was probably answered before, but does Gaia have the Gen 4-6 items updated to their Gen 6 effects? I mean like the EXP Share, Destiny Knot, Everstone, Power Items, etc.

When did he say such thing? If he did, then I guess it's a "hope it could be released before 2017" or something like that. Give him some time.

If you check back to a few pages ago to Spherical's latest update, he mentioned that he's been more busy this year due to real life commitments. I can let you know that he's working on it whenever possible. I have also been collaborating with him recently offering suggestions for new areas and assisting with mapping and graphics to make sure that a great next beta will come out.

All three of you need to understand that ROM Hacking isn't something a person can do for you all the time. Spherical didn't even get paid for making this hack and he basically has education to deal with. You guys have no literal rights to force Spherical or grumble about how he didn't release the next update for you. He's hacking in his free time and has been busy lately, so cut him some slack.

It's not like rushing him to hurry the hack is gonna give you v3.0 any sooner.

Is more on the fear that people get some expectation on something that may never be finished. Which many romhacks has died out on similar occasions. Each year that passes is a huge motivation loss

Well think how bad it feels for someone working on a hack to give it up due to personal problems. I can assure you as a hacker who has stopped working on a hack (Apollo) it is very difficult.

What I can assure you, as I mentioned before, is that Gaia is actually still progressing nicely. There is new content that has already been completed as well as some new graphical improvements and features. I can't say for sure when it will be done though I believe Spherical is waiting until the League is done, so that's a lot of content to include.

Additionally, it's currently the holiday season, so this is definitely the worst time to expect hacking to be completed, you may not realise, but we also have families and real life commitments during this time of the year.

If you're done waiting, then great, because it doesn't sound as if you are a real fan.
 
Exactly! ROM Hacking is just a hobby. And the hackers handed it out for you to play it. It's just to give people the enjoyment of playing a different Pokemon games than the originals. Rushing someone or complaining that they haven't release a new update is childish, just tell me: what will you do if you're in Spherical's place? You don't know anything yet. More importantly, you have zero idea about what it takes to be a hacker. All the more reason you shouldn't demand someone's else work when you're not the one responsible for working on it!
