Update- So I managed to grind enough to be able to beat the Ariados Guardian. However, after going through as much of the game as I could, I was disappointed with the Gym Battle. That was just way too unfair.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, but they are less important than normal. I believe it is a 10% increase on damage vs the 50% found in normal pokemon games.

Not a fan of GBA, but this is a beautiful hack and the dev(s) should be proud of their work. This hack is actually refreshing compared to what you normally see.
