Has anyone tried their hand at the Meowscarada 7 star raid yet?
I've beaten it twice today, first with Alolan Sandslash:
Sandslash's main problem is when the shield goes up it struggles to deal enough damage to stay alive. Took me 2 attempts to win, changing it's Tera from Steel to Ice on the 2nd attempt.
Snowscape for a defense buff (and to go first as mine had Slush Rush), Ice Spinner as the attacking move and Swords Dance to buff your damage. Shell Bell for heals.
Meowscarada kept spamming Night Slash, which it tanks pretty well as long as it doesn't crit too often. It switched to Flower Trick when I terad which 1 hit deleted Sandslash lol
I got 2 double damage +6 Ice Spinners in on it though (went first on the turn I clicked Tera and then again the turn after, due to Slush Rush), which was enough to break it's shield, which solved my problem from the previous attempt =P
Not a very reliable Pokemon to do this with most likely, but it got a win.
Edit: If you have an Intimidate partner Alolan Sandslash actually becomes pretty reliable. Used it for farming Herba in my Scarlet game.
Second attempt was with my Scizor that I've used on other raids as well:
Focus Energy, Lunge and Swords dance for the moves. Didn't use my 4th move yet again.
Focus Energy and Swords Dance once, then Lunge till it clears buffs. Then it's a matter of keeping Meowscaradas damage in check with Lunge's Attack drop and using Swords Dance to boost your own damage to heal enough with the Shell Bell while the shield is up.
Won quite comfortably despite not using my Tera (because of Acrobatics).
