6th Gen Mega Evolution in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

I'll like to see Mega Linoone gain a large boost in attack, and speed, with minor boosts in defenses. As for it's ability I see it getting either Vital Spirit or Normalize as it's ability. Also perhaps become Normal/Electric
Mega Mightyena I'll like to see get a boost in speed and defense. I can see it getting the ability Huge Power or Strong Jaw, if Strong Jaw then it should get a boost in attack too.
Mega Pelipper should get a boost in special attack, and special defense, and a smaller boost in speed. Also the ability Gale wings or Rain Dish will match it best.

Mega Swellow I'll like to see get a large boost in attack, a slight boost in it's defenses and speed. I can see it having Gale wings too.
Mega Gallade (as Ralts is an early, but rare mon) get a large boost in speed and attack (30 each), and slight boosts in each of it's defenses (20 each). I can see it getting the ability Super Luck or Technician.

Linoone doesn't even look like an Electric-type to me, and Normalize sucks as far as abilities go. It would be like, completely useless against Ghost-types.

Love your Mega Mightyena suggestion, Huge Power could be a nice ability for it. And I think Pelipper really does need a boost, so nice to see you make a speculation for a Mega Pelipper as well.

A Mega Swellow with Gale Wings... may not be as potent as Guts but we all know how great Talonflame was thanks to those increased-priority Flying moves. And I know how much people want Mega Gallade (especially given Gardevoir already has a Mega that exists), and I think the two abilities you mentioned look nice although I don't think it learns much that takes advantage of Technician.

But I know everyone at this stage wants a Mega Flygon... but there's still the chance the Get TV broadcast could pull the rug out from under us. Remember that Slowpoke, Audino and Lopunny all got Megas and we weren't expecting them?

Yeah, I'll prefer it getting Vital Spirit out of the two abilities I suggested. Perhaps it could even get Tactician. As for it looking like an electric type, it's fur looks like it could store electricity. It'll be one of those surprise Mega typings, much like Mega Ampharos.

As for Gallade having Technician, Joshbl56 (above this post I'm quoting) mentioned some of the moves that would benefit from it. The one that most calls my attention is Power up Punch...which will become a 60 power move (not counting stab...) in addition to the boost in Attack it'll gain from it...

I've never actually used a Gallade so I don't know much from in-game experience but its Sp. Defense stat looks pretty high. I guess bad typing is what gets this thing killed so easily?

It's special defense is actually quite good, but it's physical defense (the Defense stat) leaves to be desire. So hopefully it'll get a boost in that. I think Mega Gallade's will get a boost in speed from 80 to 100 like Gardevoir did, and a boost to it's special defense from 115 to 135. With the only difference being it's attack being boosted from 125 to 165 instead of it's special attack like Gardevoir's. Also a boost of 20 to it's special attack for a total of 85. That is unless they break the contrasts between the Megas that their normal forms have.

Mega Flygon would be awesome. Isn't Archie's/Maxie's ace Pokemon Sharpedo/Camerupt, or am I wrong? That's what I always thought they were since tons of aqua/magma members use Carvahna/Numel?

Also, I'm pretty sure they're going to have Mega Flygon since the others have a mega evolution. I'm just worried about what they will make it look like. I love the way Mega Altaria looks but Mega Salamance looks kind of weird. I like the wings but it reminds me of Mega Latios.

I'm hoping they bring Mega Shuckle and Mega Kingdra. Shuckle because it's a weird Pokemon and Kingdra so Drake will have a team full of Pokemon that have a mega evolution. It would be interesting if they gave every Elite Four member a Pokemon with a mega evolution.

Well no, but I'm sure that Gamefreak isn't going to make all the fully evolved Pokemon have Megas (or at least this generation) considering that they've only released a couple so far. Mega Gallade would take up a slot that should really go to a Pokemon who needs a Mega Evolution.

Gamefreak doesn't care. MewTwo Gyarados Gengar Venasuar,Tyranitar....None of these needed Megas,

And again, they likely won't reveal all of them.

I feel like those that really need Mega evolutions and still have room for another evolution should get a normal evolution instead (except for those that unlikely such as Linnone and Swellow as they're Hoenn's early mons). Gallade is one of those Pokémon that is fully evolved, but could still use a push. Also keep in mind Pepperton mentioned Flygon, why no criticism on that taking up a spot huh?

as for megas, im not really hoping for anything, there are defs pokemon i /think/ will get megas, but there aren't too many that i *hope* will get megas.

Well, exactly, Pokemon like Linoone and Swellow are what I'm talking about. They're way below in usage than Gallade is; plus they aren't as popular. I'm just saying if there's a finite amount of Mega Evolutions this gen I'd rather they pick a mon like Linoone than someone like Gallade, which is still somewhat usable.

Plus, everything will obviously benefit from a Mega due to +100 stat points. And no criticism on Flygon because I was only talking about Gallade and I didn't want to pick apart everything that was said before I posted. Plus I might have a slight bias for Flygon.

Unless they decrease its defenses by 50 each, making them both a solid 180, and boosting Attack with 80, Sp. Atk with 50 and Speed with 70.

Now as for new Megas, I think we're definitely getting Sharpedo and Camerupt Megas, and I think they'll be revealed next month.
Other possible Megas are Cacturne, Flygon, Milotic, Zangoose, Seviper, Ludicolo and Shiftry.

Cacturne can get the Iron Barbs ability, or either Sand Veil or Water Absorb.
Flygon can get Sand Rush.
Milotic can become Water/Fairy and get Marvel Scale or Multiscale.
Zangoose can become Normal/Fighting or Normal/Dark, with the Tough Claws ability, and Seviper should become Poison/Dark and get either Intimidate or Poison Touch.

As for Shiftry and Ludicolo, Shiftry should get Speed Boost or Protean and Ludicolo should get Drizzle, Rain Dish or Swift Swim.

Mega Solrock and Mega Lunatone would be interesting as well. They may become Fire/Psychic and Ice/Psychic and get Levitate.

I was thinking of something like that. Someone mentioned earlier about a Mega (I want to say it's Skarmory?) that had its defense and attack stats flipped and then attack increased. That would be the closest thing I could see them doing with Shuckle. That, and maybe giving it Filter?

Normal Shuckle being a crazy waller and Mega Shuckle being a sweeper-ish Pokemon (I doubt it would be THAT strong but it would at least make Shell Smash useful).

Now as for new Megas, I think we're definitely getting Sharpedo and Camerupt Megas, and I think they'll be revealed next month.

I wouldn't use Water Absorb with Cacturne since it's mainly found in deserts. It would make its ability seem weird. It also already has Sand Veil as an ability and I don't think any Mega has kept its normal ability.

I could see Flygon getting Sand Rush.

I see Milotic either becoming Water/Fairy or Water/Dragon. I would like to see it have Protean as a nod to the Pokedex entries saying it is a different color depending on the angle.

I can see Zangoose becoming Normal/Fighting as a way to counter Seviper being Poison/Dark.

Mega Lunatone/Solrock would be awesome. If not Ice then Water, since the moon is tied to water. Maybe give them Drizzle/Drought?

Uh, in terms of Tier, Gallade is only one on top of theirs in the current Smogon Metagame. Actually Flygon itself is higher, at UU.

While there is a finite number we shouldn't act like there's only three more Megas (there may be). Besides, ORAS still have a ways to go in terms of Megas compared to XY.
