4th Gen Give the Red Gyarados

Well as you know the Red Gyarados was a big thing in the anime in in GSC, it wasn't just a shiny pokemon, it was a pokemon that became red out of rage, and this is what it looked like in the anime:

And in the game it was a red, shiny pokemon gyarados, but different from other shiny's because it had a reason for it's color.
But now in the current games Red Gyarados doesn't look like that, he looks like this:

I think they should have kept everything the same, which just the scales (red scale significance) being the difference.

If you're talking about the slightly (very slightly) lighter shade of red, I don't think there was any actual change made to the DS version...huh?

that really does look pretty much exactly the same. even the fins, mouth, eyes, everything. can't see where you're coming from...

I agree with everyone else. It looks the same.

And, the Red Gyrados story in the beginning of DP was useless I think.. just a beginning.. I thought we'd encounter it again later. :(

No. The Sprite's Fins are very lightly shaded pinky red. Its opacity is probably like 10%.. It does not really make a difference.
I think the starting bit of DP was just hinting us that a shiny Gyarados was Red... But the Bit about the Gyarados being in the lake was a load of BS probably trying to get us to believe we can somehow go to Jhoto...

The size wouldn't matter. The D/P red Gyarados' sprite is the same as the normal version... and it should be.

It's happier than your regular Gyarados encounter.

No I totally messed up for some reason I thought the sprite was all red but then when I posted I saw and I was like wtf can I delete this lol.
