Your favorite flavor? Salty, sour, sweet, spicy, savory, bitter?
Mine is salty. I love the seasoning of vegetables in a lot of Asian foods. I am always up for some fried rice, spring rolls, noodle dishes like udon or Mei fun, vegetable wonton, seaweed salads, hot miso soups, sushi with soy sauce.
How about a least favorite?
I am crazy about food, and enjoy some foods in all of the flavor groups, but I will say that I don't crave overly sweet products too often. I avoid frostings, marshmallows, honey, jellies, dried fruits, preserves, things dripping in food dyes and every color, cream filled-desserts. I like sweet foods, but too much sugar, especially of the processed variety, can get nauseating for me.
What I can enjoy is the taste of simple, fresh fruit in season something like a wild strawberry, peach, cherries or watermelon from the market place. I will not say no to chocolate either, but that is naturally a bitter food though it's often sweetened, so it could be counted as bitter instead of sweet all depending.
What flavors turn you on an off?
