Gym Leader BATTLE ROYALE!

Out of all the Gym Leaders in Kanto and Johto, which ones are your favourites and why?

Misty- She has always been one of my favorites. A hardcore Water-type loving, sea-diva like her deserves to be a Gym Leader. Plus, she'a actually pretty tough no matter when you battle her.

Lt. Surge- WOO. AMERICA. WOO. The fact that they featured an American in the game was neat. His Raichu in Yellow was tough, and his team in every other game was nothing to sneeze too much at.

Sabrina- She could read your mind, predict the future, destroy your Pokemon with her Alakazam, and look pretty without giving a dang all at once.

Giovanni- He was just cool all around. Leader of a large criminal organization, rich as heck, cool Pokemon team, and such an intimidating look!

Falkner- He was just funny. His hatred for all things Electric, his obsession with all things that have wings. Plus he was super easy, which I like. :'D

Whitney- She was cute as a button! Plus everything she has is pink, which I'm loving. <3

Jasmine- My favorite of ALL the gym leaders ever. She was just so cool. Timid, shy, kind, and loving, plus she had a giant Steelix that could destroy you. Heck yeah!

Pryce- He is just the essence of cool. See what I did there? Cool? Ice? Whatever, he's cool. He's old, wise, impatient, old, grumpy, old, irritable, old, and very old, yet he's still kicking butt.

I picked Sabrina and Morty and my DUMB ASS forgot to click Jasmine too. :( I picked Sabrina since she's p cool and hardcore. Morty has a scarf, is in my favorite city in the whole series, and I love ghost types. Jasmine is very much like me and I've always liked her hair, haha.

Brock - You have to give it up for Brock — for such a low-class gym leader he approaches battles with quite admirable determination. Alongside that, he uses words of wisdom to support beginning and experienced trainers alike. He's also the first gym leader ever... you've got to respect that.

Lt. Surge - A former American-troop. Need I say more?
Not the biggest fan of his attitude, though.

Koga - Clearly Koga was tough enough to make his way into the Elite Four, which only one other gym leader has managed to do. I love the serious look emitting an essence of pure focus in his eyes. Outside of battle, he's surprisingly kind and polite. Another thing I love about Koga is that for the longest time he was the only gym leader to own a poison-type gym. Lastly, he's a ninja... yup.

Blaine - You have to feel sorry for the guy. Prior to the destruction of Cinnabar Island, Blaine was so rowdy and upbeat. His dedication to his position as a gym leader was more than represented in re-building his gym inside of a cave. Also...

"Ha! You better have Burn Heal!"

Classic.

Morty - Simply put, I don't have much of a reason for liking Morty the way I do. I love how serious he was and how he handled situations. More than anything, I found him to be quite mysterious, and I love that I did.

Jasmine - Ah, Jasmine — sweet, innocent Jasmine. Her love for Pokémon shows in postponing her battle to take care of a sickened Pokémon. I also loved how she was one of the first gym leaders to make a cameo in another main-series game. Did I mention she's beautiful?

Pryce - An experienced battler who takes things very seriously. Pryce is awesome.

Erika, Blaine, Giovanni, Falkner, and Jasmine are my favorites. They're just awesome. I look forward to battling them.

Jasmine was amazing in my opinion. one of my all time favorites :D

Jasmine because she's cute and innocent and WHAM! she sics a Steelix on you.

And Giovanni because not only is he also a crime boss, he's also rocking the black business suit.

Misty because she was just awesome even though fetching her from her date was slightly annoying. The anime played a big part on me liking her, the typing of her Pokémon being another reason. Also, Giovanni because he's both a Gym Leader and the Team Rocket boss. Some inside dirt also leads me to believe that he supposedly fathered Silver, so that's pretty awesome.

For the Gen II Gym Leaders, I choose Jasmine and Blue. Jasmine was just a well-take on the Steel-type Gym Leader, I mean, who would have thought that they'd pick a kind and pretty girl like her? I just like her so much. Blue on the other hand deserved a position from all his troubles in R/B so him getting Giovanni's Gym made me like him. Plus he's awesome in the manga. Did I mention he's Blue? So yeah, awesome right there.

Sabrina, her psychic powers are awesome and I love her design in Gen 4.

Whitney's Milktank was too powerful!

Whitney. Mainly because I loved having to work a strategy to beat her aggravating Miltank.

Misty, because she was the only gym leader with an actual legitmate personality, Whitney with her stupid kid hairstyle and her dumb fat miltank pissed me off.

Blue because he's... well, Blue.
Your rival in Generation 1 became a gym leader in Generation 2. That's pretty awesome, and he has a mixed team which can be nice.
(Red doesn't even stay at his throne in the Elite Four; he just hides in a cave... what about the other Elite Four challengers?...)

Oh yes Metapod and Kakuna how intimedating.

Okay I couldn't choose so I picked three lol cheated sorry anywaysss I picked Erika and Sabrina for gen I and Whitney for gen II. Love Erika's design, concept, voice, face, team, type, gym, EVERYTHING about her. Sabrina was the main antagonist in my favourite arc in season 1 of Pokémon and I just love her (only her old design though). And Whitney reminds me of myself when I'm not grumpy hhaha.

Kanto - Blaine for me, he's probably my all time favourite gym leader, I love his pokémon; his style; his riddles; his isolated home, everything, he's just so cool :D

Johto - Chuck. I've always been really partial to him, and I love how crazy he is while his wife despairs outside the gym lol xD

Jasmine: Because she smashes your preconceptions of her just as hard as her Steelix!
Clair: Because although she was ridiculously hard to defeat, I like a challenge in a Gym Leader. Plus: KINGDRA!
Blue: Same as Clair, and because I really like opponents with mixed teams.

Koga and Blaine - mainly because I love poison and fire-types, and Koga's use of status effects to screw you over.
