Do Pokémon eat other Pokémon?

Why wouldn't they? Its the natural order of nature. The strong prey upon the weak for survival. It is actually what make Pokemon evolve and have abilities in the first place.
Sure, I'm one of those guys who believe normal animal exist and they were eaten as normal food for wild Pokemons. But I still thought that the main diet of carnivorous Pokemon (all of them still can eate berries, yes, but why would Houndoom have fangs at all if they just eat berries?) is other Pokemon.

Numerous sources refer to this fact, yes. I do believe that Pokémon prey upon each other. For example, Pidgeotto is explicitly stated to hunt Exeggcute in its FireRed Pokédex entry, and the anime suggests that they also prey on Caterpie and Magikarp.

Another interesting question is whether people eat Pokémon. There is evidence that they do. Team Rocket cuts off Slowpoke tails and sells them as food in Johto, and Farfetch'd is stated as having been driven nearly to extinction due to its having been hunted as a prized delicacy. (Fun fact: Farfetch'd is based on the Japanese proverb which is abbreviated as kamonegi (which is Farfetch'd's Japanese name), which literally means "a duck comes bearing green onions", which refers to something surprising but convenient and welcome occurring; Farfetch'd leek is a reference to this proverb, due to roasted duck served with green onions having been a great delicacy in Japan, hence the saying.)

The Pokemon world would seem more interesting if the Pokemon eat each other, so yes, I believe that Pokemon eat other Pokemon. It seems kinda canon already as numerous hints are shown in the games, the manga (I think?) and anime. It adds a realistic sense to the Pokemon world. But I only see them preying on the smaller kinds of Pokemon, such as Caterpie and Feebas.

It's explicitly stated in multiple Pokedex entries that Pokemon do eat other Pokemon. Swellow and Pidgeot come to mind.

In Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, a book written in a library in one town explicitly states that people eat Pokemon, and return their bones to nature so they can be reborn. Or something like that.

You know, I would love to see someone draw up a theorethical Pokémon food web. I could spend an age studying it.

In Pokemon 2000 you see Misty chomping down some chicken, so i'm assuming Humans would eat pokemon because no other animals live in the world of pogeymanz.
And yeah as stated, dex entries say they eat other Pokemon and who knows. They might condone cannibalism in the world of Pokemon.

It's been mentioned that some Pokémon, like Wurmple, are food sources for others.

As mentioned before, Farfetch'd is also a delicacy. Basculin's Black 2/White 2 Dex entry also states that it's very tasty, implying that people eat it.

Animals do live in the world of... *cough*... Pogeymanz

Lol Sorry :D. Anyway, ya however they are only ever referenced, and never shown. Infact, they are generaly referenced when refering to food, perhaps because it could be seen as morbid to show the character eating pokemon.

I remember Ash, Misty, and brock (Or tracy, I forget) eating Muskrat on a stick, or something to that affect that was given to them by some lady in the woods..

Yes, I agree on this. I do not think real animals in our world live in the Pokemon world as I have not seen them in the anime, the manga or the movies. There are many carnivorous Pokemon such as Sharpedo, Arbok etc. As we all know, carnivorous animals only eat meat. Where else do we find meat in the Pokemon world, if not humans, other than Pokemon themselves?

Yes. Water types eat fire types, fire types eat grass types, grass types eat water types. Flying types eat bug types, bug types eat dark types, dark types eat psychic types...This can go on for a while. ;)

I do remember there's one episode where ash tried to eat one of the berry on a tree. He spit it out because it taste like a raw meat. Chilan or brock( i don't remember) told him the berry needs to be cooked first.

I believe so, after all, the Pokedex says so. What's more, in the Pokemon world, animals are Pokemon right? Therefore, Ash might be eating Pokemon!

I'm guessing so...

They keep Miltanks for milk, why not keep them for meat too. Hmmm...I wonder what Tauros meat taste like?

Yeah humans eat pokemon too... It was just a few days ago that i realised that because there are no real animals, everytime they eat meat it must be a pokemon...

Yeah it was a weird thing to stomach at first but it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. I think it'd be something you might find in the manga moreso than the anime (unless only hinted at) but its there.

I do like the realistic concept of it! It only makes sense after all. They clearly keep the show preeeetty PG in those terms but in pokedex entries you all mentioned make it obvious pokemon is also apart of their diet since those are the only animals around.

Lets just say they don't show the cruel part of life on the tv shows :P They gotta survive don't they? :P

I think there are some fish in the first season of the anime though, so some real animals must exist, right? Not sure how many there are though.

I believe so. According to Google, Ash's Pidgeotto tried to eat his Caterpie. Team Rocket's Meowth tried to eat a Magikarp. Didn't Ash actually eat a Magikarp at one point in the anime?

I don't remember which Gen V game it was in, but some person in the game mentioned that Kyurem is said to eat Pokemon and people. x:

I don't like to think so but according to some Pokédex entries, it seems that they do.
Victreebel's Pokédex Entry from Pokémon Yellow:

"Lures prey with the sweet aroma of honey. Swallowed whole, the prey is melted in a day, bones and all."
