I figured it should go under here :3 Cooking is considered both an entertainer and an art.
Do any of you cook? And what are your favourite dishes to make? If you don't cook then what is something you'd love to cook?
Do you ever watch cooking shows and try your hand at it? Or do you ever been to a cook-off?

Well I can cook, though my cooking skills aren't that good.
I'm from Suriname, A lot of dishes from there are basically a mix of food from India, Indonesia and China.

Almost all of the dishes I can make include rice, since I'm not a great fan of pasta and potatoes.

Maybe I'll post some recepies here later, but I guess I have to look up on the names of some spices I use.

I enjoy cooking, its a fun activity to do. After a while burning yourself doesn't hurt as bad, though I don't reconmend it, it stings.

My favorite dish and the one I'm most famous for (In my household and family) is omelets. Its difficult to do when the person your making it for wants all kinds of stuff on it. But that makes it more fun. ^^

Yes, I watch the cooking channel. Usually I have to make something to eat while watching it.

    Sadly I have not.

I can cook a lot of stuff!
They're mostly pastas with different sauces, or different kind of pizzas, but I can cook a lot of different kinds of dish!
My father taught me mostly everything I know, so I'd say I could cook anything if I tried it!

I enjoy cooking, almost to the point of considering culinary school.

But that's just because I like food. Tbh, I've only cooked a small variety of things in my day. Pretty much though if you give me the recipe, I'll be able to prepare it.

I don't cook, but I've helped out several times. I did watch a few cooking shows, but haven't tried the cooking myself.

I've never cooked a whole meal but like PlatinumDude said, I've helped out with meals.

I really enjoy cooking. One of my favorite things to do when I'm bored is to look up an online recipe and then make it. I think I'm more of a pastry chef since I tend to cook foods such as cakes, cookies, and breads. I find those to be the easiest, funniest, and most delicious to make. Although not to brag I can make an amazing broccoli casserole.

Even though I do like cooking I don't like watching cooking shows too much. Every once and a while I'll stop and see what Paula Dean is making because she is a goddess, but I've only made a recipe off a show once. I don't even remember the name of the show, but it was some berry cupcake recipe that I thought I'd try out. It ended up coming out horrible. Anyways the only cooking show I truly enjoy watching is Chopped which is more of a competition food show then a follow the ingredients type of show.
