    where can i find chimecho??
    pls help!!!
     
    you find chimecho on the summit of Mt.pyre, to the right of the red and blue orbs. Or was it to the left :\

    it is found in that whole general area, but it is extremely rare (1% chance of finding one I believe)
     
    chimecho is extremly rare, but i found it in the left twice in saphire, but my friend can only find chimecho twice in the right side for ruby. i think chimeco can only be found in the left for saphire and in the right for ruby(of coarse its just a guess?).
     
    Once you find it, it's actually pretty fun to train. I have a level 50 Chimecho in my team on my Ruby version as my Psychic Type/Heal Beller. It's actually not that weak. As I've said in the past I've taken two of Steven's pokemon down with it before with some lucky Psywaves (Armaldo and Claydol both went down in one or two hits o_O ) If you're just trying to get it for your pokedex, though, I wouldn't try unless you have a whole lot of spare time on your hands. Despite it being sixty times more common than a shining and fourteen times more common than a Feebas it's still pretty tough to encounter...
     
    If you guys were in my area I'd just make some eggs and trade them to you for something useless...

    It doesn't matter what side it's on because I caught it on the left in ruby, and imakuni, it doesn't matter if you have it how rare it is. i have it, heck, I have them all, but I still know the rarity of my pokemon. He is one tough booger to catch. I found it easiest to just sit still and use sweet scent to appear, and he was the second to last pokemon I caught(not counting jirachi) so it's nothing to yawn about. Those who ahve him are extremely lucky. Myself included. :D
     
    actually chimecho isnt harder to find than feebas, heck i always capture around 20 feebas's just to give them to my friends,and they give me things like groudon and latios's and now this kid is gonna give me a shiny mew he duplicate and gamesharked for about 10 feebas's and a molitic.

    i didnt say chimecho positively in one side for r/s. but for me its more common on the left(dont know y).

    Feebas, don't ask. Its one of the rarest, I've encountered it once, but I used a cheat to get one. If you have one & don't know how to evolve it: Raise its Beautiness Stat up completely. Then raise it one more level & it should evolve!

    My Jirachi was from the Bonus disk, even known I could've used the code on my GS to get it!

    It's pretty rare I guess, but there are pokemon that were ALOT harder for me to find and catch. Luckily, Chimeco was another simple easy catch for me (like most of my pokemon) just hurled 2 Ultra balls and he was mine.

    I'd definently say Febas is more rare than Chimeco, and alot more annoying to catch IMO.
     
    i caught it on the left in ruby and took me about two encounters..the first, i encoutered a duskull then the second a chimeco and he's one hard bugger to catch...took me 6 greatballs....
     
    Actually, Feebas is rarer than Chimecho. Chimecho's rarity is 1%, but I beleive Feebas's rarity is 0.04%. He will randomly appear in six out of the many tiles in the lake on the way to Fortree, and once your game is shut off the tiles randomly change positions. And even at that, if you fish in a Feebas square, it's very hard to encounter one. You'll most likely encounter a lot of Carvanhas before you encounter a Feebas in its own square. I finally was able to catch a Feebas after a whole morning of excrutiating searching last summer...it usually takes me fifteen minutes to encounter a Chimecho on average.

    Some people are luckier than others :p For example, I have really good luck finding Dunsparces in Dark Cave on my Gold version, and on my Silver I encountered Entei almost immediately after the legendary dogs had been released from Burnt Tower...and on the other hand, it took me half a year to encounter a Skitty on my Sapphire version...
