I like Ruby and Sapphire. They were the only two games which still stays fresh everytime I replay it. GSC would be second, I love Johto. If only D/P had more fire types in the beginning....
my favorite is a tie bewteen Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Emerald. Because in Pokemon Emerald they introduce the battle Frontier and in Pokemon Pear the contest are better and you can trade all around the world
