~Introduction~

Hey, I'm ~*Pikafan*~. I just joined about a month ago and I saw the ROMs that people make here. I heard about ROMs and I tried making one, but it was too hard to do alone. After my brother got me to join, I saw all of the awesome hacks. A few days later, I thought of an Idea. I wanted to make a bunch of new hacks, and one of them was of an RPG I go on. So I started working on one and I wasn't having much luck. Just when I was about to give up, I got help. I then started to continue on the hack, but I'm not doing that good. Then someone else offered to help. After a few more days, I decided to make a Team to make this hack and some other hacks I want to make get better.

The ROMs we will hack are Ruby and FireRed. If anyone in the Team gets an idea, we might do different ROMs, too. But for now, Ruby and FireRed are the 2 main ROMs.

If you want to help make what seems to be one of the best RPG that I've been on, then this is the Team to join.

~*Pikafan*~ (Me): Can edit the maps, people, signs, and other things with Advanced Map in the game, can upload scripts to a ROM, can change the legendaries that appear in the game, can edit text a little bit, and can use most of the things in EliteMap.

Psyduckmaniac: Can create scripts

Dooke: Can edit Scripts and make Scripts

Natu133: can edit text, pokemon names, pokemon cries, attacks, tile editing, and sprite editing

As I said in the Introduction, we are trying to make a hack of that site. It is an all new region with many twists. The name of the hack we are currently working on is called

Pokemon: Sharma Islands

Or Pokemon Sharma for short.

Well I can do lots of stuff in Advance Map. Change sprites, change maps.
I can also creat scripts, mainly to the extent of movement, and input them into the game. I dont know how i can show you the map work but heres a script.

So, We have script editor now. excellent, our domination continues! oh and another thing for me, i found out how to edit region map. oh AND, we need someone who can create a banner.. Paint doesnt work out like photoshop...When i get one idea, it leads to another one...i can edit stats of pokemon, what lvl they evolve, what they evolve into, The items they will hold..and yeah...

Well i dont edit scripts i make completely new ones.
And doing all of what you mentioned above needs proof as it all comes with the elitemap package. maybe a rom bae showing it.

Dooke is right. Can you show us some examples?

And Dooke, have you tried making either the 9 starters scripts or the double battle script for the GYM? I would help, but I've tried scripting and I really can't do it.

By the way, does anyone here know how to make a barn pixel? We need one for the 2nd route.

okay i cant do the battle script as it involves other programs that i dont know how to use. when i download it and get used to ill start.
the nine starters could you specify them please. ittl help alot

The 9 starters are just the 9 you can originally get:

Charmander
Squirtle
Bulbasaur
Chikorita
Cyndaquil
Totodile
Mudkip
Torchic
Treecko

I don't think you need to do the starters for the first 3, unless it's for Oak's script.

And also, can you make a National Dex script?

okay the thing is that im going to have to take a long time for doing this. it will go in order like:
do you want charmander?
do you want squirtle?
etc.

and yes the national dex is doable on Fire red roms.

You mean in a row of tables? And it doesn't matter how long you take, just take your time and do your best.

And can you make the National Dex script before that?
