Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Secrets

[Whispering Winds]

Story

Previously...

The lands of Labrynna and Holodrum were under attack from the servants of the Gerudo witches, Twinrova. Their respective Oracles were captured, and the lands were thrown into chaos. A boy from Hyrule by the name of Link traveled to each of the two lands, saved their Oracles, and restored the power of the seasons and the power of time to order. He then went on to confront the evil witches themselves, and discovered their plot to sacrifice Princess Zelda and summon Ganon from the Dark Realm. However, because Link intervened, they could only revive a mindless, raging Ganon whom Link defeated. Twinrova had been stopped... for now.

But what of the third Oracle? Farore, the Oracle of Secrets who dwelled within the Maku Trees and gave shape to messages that Link recieved from others? Why did Twinrova not involve her as well?

Two months later...

Link is summoned to a new land- the land of Secrecia. Once again he encounters Impa, the large, muscular nurse to Princess Zelda. She tells Link that this is the land of which Farore is the guardian, and that Farore is now in danger. Link found it hard to imagine, but he then encountered people from his previous adventures who also came to Secrecia because of the danger looming over it, including Din and Nayru, the Oracles whom Link saved in Holodrum and Labrynna.

The prediction is about to come true. Twinrova has returned, and is about to capture and imprison Farore. Without the power of Secrets, Secrecia will face more chaos than Labrynna and Holodrum combined. Inner feelings within people could be awakened, turning those with even small amounts of negative emotions into raging monsters. This time aided by companions old and new, Link will have to stop Twinrova and save both Farore and all of Secrecia.

Characters

To keep things fair and under control, players are limited to having one canon character and one original character. Of course, you may decide to only play as a canon character or only as an original, but no more than one of each.

Canon Characters

To claim a canon character, you must state which character you would like to play as an post a roleplaying sample of that character. It must be at least four lines in all forum layouts. You may copy something from another roleplay, but it must be of the character you would like to play as.

Good:

Link Played By:
Link was the child who saved Labrynna and Holodrum in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. This blonde-haired Hyrulian will face many challenges on his quest to save Secrecia from Twinrova. He posesses a sword as his weapon at the start of the adventure, and will gain many new skills as it progresses.

Din Played By: Whispering Winds
Din is the Oracle of Seasons. With the Rod of Seasons, she is able to manipulate the powers of nature to aid Link. She is also a very talented dancer.

NayruPlayed By:
The Oracle of Ages. She is kind and friendly. She can aid Link by playing the Harp of Ages to manipulate the flow of time. (Similar to Time Mages from Final Fantasy) In addition, Nayru has a beautiful singing voice.

Ralph Played By:
Ralph is Nayru's boyfriend. Though he may be from the shallow end of the gene pool, he is actually a highly skilled swordsman.

Farore Played By:
The Oracle of Secrets. She will be captured by Twinrova soon after the adventure begins. While she is captive, the emotional balance of Secrecia will fall into chaos. Though she will be imprisoned for most of the adventure, she can contact Link and the others through psychic messages.

Evil:

Twinrova Played By:
Twinrova actually consists of two entities: Koume and Kotake, but they same to share one mind. They are responsible for capturing Farore and hope to sacrifice all three Oracles together in an attempt to revive Ganon again.

Vire Played By:
This annoying creature served both Veran and Onox in the past. Now, he is the lap dog of Twinrova. Hr is able to spit fireballs and split himself into two bats.

Name: Nina Himura

Allignment: Good

Discription: Ninja Nina Red Hair, and blue eyes. With her thin face and slim body, people oftin mistake her for a weakling. Very swift and agile, and has a sleek build. About 5 ft. A black headband with a purple mark was wrapped around her forehead. She wears a black outfit that consists of shorts and a tank top. Her backpack contains Ninja weapons, food, money, and books. On her necklace is a stone that was givin to her by her little brother. She usually puts her hair up in a ponytail. She always wears sandals. She wears black fingerless gloves that have little pokets for holding medicine leaves.

Personality: Spunky and Athletic, Quiet and thoughtful. She loves the fact that she has the complete build of a ninja. In mind and body. She uses Ninja techniques and many weapons. She usually likes to make friends, but she knows how to control her bubbly attitude. A dreamer, Nina is also quite the romantic! She fights most monsters she sees to train, but big monsters aren't her thing. She loves to catch and ride the wild horses that reside in the feilds of Secrecia. She always helps travalers in need.

History: Born to a Noble mother and a Ninja father, Nina ran away from home when she found out -because she was part of the royal family- they woulden't let her fight. On a moonlit night, she broke out the window aand slid down into the moat. She walked for a few days, and no-one recogneised her. Then, she met a traviling man much like her father-only younger. Her age, maybe a few years older.

He saw her Ninja build and asked her if she would like to train with him to become a real ninja. As foolish and Nieve and Nina was, she said yes. All went well for a few monthes. Then the young man became a bit too friendly twords Nina. After Nina mentioned the words "Perverted" and "freak" she decided to leave and and survive on her own and train by herself.

Now, Nina had a little brother. he was about 10. A few months after Nina dissapeared, the young boy -whose name was Shenai- set off to find her. Shenai was no ordinary little boy. He could control a bit of water. He wasen't much of a threat to Twinrova, but another powerful demon caught him. The demon knew if he trained with Nina and they teamed up, they could be most formidable. But killing him would be dumb, so they kept him in a cage as a monkey and fed him scraps.

Nina soon found out about this and knew the only way to defeat the demon was a special magic stone that Twinrova hid in it's stashes. So to get Shenai, Nina had to get Twinrova. But she coulden't do it by herself. So she set off to find Link, so they could team up and defeat Twinrova.

Roleplay sample: Footprints were visable in the powdery soil that once held the tallest trees in the world. Thanks to the Namite, most of the trees in Macalania were just stumps, and a few lucky trees were struggling to get enough water, light, and CO2. Dusty thin clouds blocked out the sun in wat was now Macalania grassland. But what about the footprints? There were 2 kinds...

One was the definate shape of a Queen Coeurl. The large print and the light scrape of the nails. And besides, a few moments before, Samura had heard the cry of a Coeurl. But Coeurls wouden't just live here naturally. "There must be a rider around here..." Sam gave a large smile. "But that means it won't eat me, so I'm safe!"

The other prints were small and had kicked up alot of dust. These footprints belonged to a theif. The theif must have been tired, becouse the footprints had small spaces inbetween, and the theif had been walking. Hearing a rustle behind her, Sam tensed up, walljumped off the nearest tree stub, flipped, and landed facing the opposite direction.

I'll accept that. The appearance and personality sections aren't quite as long as I was hoping for, but they give a good grasp of the character's qualities. You can expand them if you want, but there's no need.

Name: Seni
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Gerudo
Allignment: Good
Description: Seni is a tall and slender young Gerudo male, well muscled in all the right places. His hair is long and dark red, kept in a ponytail; it contrasting perfectly with his tanned skin. His eyes are a sharp dark green, laying a bit high on the face. Seni wears the traditional gerudo garb, but it's more of a darkish grey to green. He also carries two short swords that are usually in sheaths at his sides.
Personality: Seni is a kind and caring young man, willing to give his life for the good of others. He is extremely of any friends he makes
History: Seni was born into the gerudo tribe at a peaceful time, but his mother died in the process. A close friend of his mother's took the boy in and raised him as her own. Eighteen years later, after much training and disicpline, Seni is a loyal to the hero, Link. But there is still something inside the boy that wants to come out. Seni is ready for it at any time, good or bad

Roleplay Sample: ((It's a chick sample but hey...lol)) *Lia Johnson sat quietly at the Gryffindor table, her bright eyes, the color of violet infused with specks of silver glimmered brightly in the dim lighting of the lanterns. Her dark brown hair along with some honey natural looking highlights was stright, thick, shiney, and lucious as it rain down her back like a river bed that flowed down to her finger tips. Her boyish figure Developed into an Hour glass frame that would put any model to shame-
WereGarurumon213: Long slender Legs and a chest that was a perfect size for her frame. She wore what was required of her, but she spunked it up. she wore the usual long sleeved white blouse but it ended a little above her belly button, showing off a small silver crescent moon against her stomach and had a low neck line so you could see her ample breasts sticking out slightly. She wore the regualr gray sleeveless vest and it reached a little above the bottom of her blouse and her usual amber and golden tie was resting loosely around the colar; the top few buttons undone. The bottom of her skirt didn't go down to her knees, it went about mid thigh, just covering her up and it wasn't woolly, it was of some sort of nylon matterial. Instead of wearing stockings she wore nylons and instead of her usual black shoes, she wore black high heals. A smile perched its self along her blood red lips as her gaze ran over the tearcher's table, stopping to look at Snape*

Name: Darkura Wyvern
Age: 17
Gender: male
Race: hylian
Allignment: Neutral
Description: Around 5'8, with a bit of a toned body. His skin is slightly tanned from all the time he spends traveling. His eyes are a light brownish-red and his hair is the darkest black. His hair is a bit spiky but really messy. Around his neck is a gunmetal silver necklace or pendant in the shape of a crown. He has a scar coming from his right shoulder blade to his left rib on his back. His clothes are like Links except his pants are gray, his boots and vest are black and his vest has a dragon inprint on the back, and he has a red shirt. He doesn't wear a hat though. On his hands are some black fingerless gloves. He has a gold ring with a dragon symbol on it.
Personality: Although he rarely admits it, Scottura is often quite withdrawn and introspective. He knows that there is a lot that he does not understand about himself, and this causes him to be irritable at times, and sometimes even to snap at friends. He changes for the better once he realizes that there are bigger problems than himself to deal with.
History: Dark lived with his grandmother, ever since his parents died. He never really like choosing sides, as his parents had, which is how they were killed. He has a fear of water as he almost drowned when he fell in a lake, fortunatly he was saved by Link. Although he admires Link, he just can't bring himself to choose the good side.
Other: He has a fear of water.
Roleplay Sample:
The wind was cold and strong, raindrops started falling from the sky. A dark lone figure was running in the forest, trying to find shelter for the night.

"How did it get so c-cold" the figure thought searching through all the forest. The figure finally found a house that looked warm and cosy, it had lights on the porch to illuminate the area near it. The figure approached the porch, the figure's face was illuminated by the lights. The figure was a male with light brownish-red eyes and hair that blends in with the darkest shadows. He was soaking wet, and as he made his way to the door all of his body was illuminated. He was shaking from the coldness of the air and rain, he knocked on the door hoping that someone was kind enough to take him in from the cold. The boy did have a name, that he knew very well, Darkura Wyvern...

Name:Kaivious
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: half hylian/half gerudo
Allignment: Neutral (Spy for Twinrova(If allowed))

Description: Kaivous hides most of his body in a dark grey cloak. His hair is long and messy, and a crimson red in color, and his eyes are have almost very little color. He is around 5' 11". He wears a rapier and a dagger by his side at all times. When he dosen't have his cloak on he wears tore leather pants and a cloth shirt, both of which are dark brown in color. He wears a silver band around his wrist with "Messenger" written in Hylian. He also wears black palm gloves and two gold rings, both are on his left hand.

Personality: A shady person who doesn't take to many others to well. He seems to care only for himself. He also seems to not fight his hardest in battles. He keeps his allience with Twinrova secret to everyone, except a few, who are mainy Gerudo's as well... He also has been known to steal from those who come near, so keep your distance from hm whenever possible. His Battle Tactics are also very destructive.

History: When Kaivious was around 8 years old The Gerudo Witches, Twinrova, took him in as an apprentence. Ever since he has remained loyal to the Twinrova, and has supplied them with the details of the lives of the many people he has came in contact with. His Skill with a Rapier and Dagger has been proven time after time. His loyalty has kept him out of danger when Twinrova became enraged. He has very little memory of his early childehood.

Other: Kaivious skin color is very very light tan, more hylian then Gerudo in body color.

Roleplay Sample: Kyle had finaly arived at Cinnibar Island. While walking through streets of Cinnibar he noticed a pokemon battle between two trainers. What truely caught his eyes was the Wartotle's power as it tossed the Espeon. Kyle walked closer to the battle and grabbed a notebook out of his backpack and started joting down notes about the battle.
"Elm will be interestided by this trainer's preformance," Kyle said looking up from his notes, "That other trainer is doing a good job to..."

Cool, Zelda. I liked the Oracle series on GBC (Wish I had the Ages cartridge though so I could get the Master Sword and stuff).

Name: Lartry

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Race: Hylian

Allignment: Good (I can't do the evil part)

Description: Lartry is a brown haired Hylian who wears a tunic similar to that of Link's. He carry's a Hylian Shield he bought from the Market when he was younger and a sword he found on his quests around the Hyrule area. If not using his sword he tends to favour his Slingshot and Bow and Arrows. Lartry is fairly tall for his age.

Personality: Lartry tends to act quiet around other people and remains focused in his quests. Some quests he avoids as they are too dangerous though this could all change soon.

History: While his parents were going through Hyrule on Market Day Lartry was born and trained by his father, who was a swordsman for the king. Eventually his father died on a quest when sent off by the king which inspired Lartry to go on quests and fulfil them. Though some he wussed out on due to difficultness. But every quest he has seen right through to the end.

Roleplay Sample: Running through Kokiri Forest at night, Lartry saw to killing all creatures that were harmful to anyone who got near. He slashed at a few Skulltulas, tore at a few bats, shot a variety with his slingshot. He stopped. Kokiri Forest was safe from those beasts for one night.
Lartry turned away and headed back off to Hyrule. This is the part he hated. Zombies took a few hits of his sword before dying and even then lots kept coming back for more.
