Ok, I have divided the clan into different Ranks.... This way we don't get confused.

Jonin - Ninja leader who negotiates with the feudal lords over ninja missions and fees exacted.

Chunin - Literally means 'middle person'. The second of the three military ranks in the ninja hierarchy. The chunin sets the mission for the field ninja to carry out, and was ultimately responsible for its success.

Kantokusha - Male commander of the Kunoichi

Genin/Shinobi - The Japanese for 'low person'. A genin was a ninja of the lowest rank and the one responsible for actually carrying out the mission. Also called a ninja, although ninja was the collective term for all three levels in the ninja hierarchy.
