It took me awhile to figure it out too. When you reply to someone, I think you do it in their profile. That way they get a notification saying you replied.

Hm, it does seem to be a major pokémon forum, with a coherent fanfiction subforum. Perhaps it's simply the next logical alternative to SPPF. Vill, whatevah.

I'm watching shriveled Nosferatu rise from his goddamned casket in the original die Symphony der Grauens. I think it's a general consensus that only a decrepit silent-movie could capture the atmosphere quite as it did.

And the system of Visitor Message conversations is confusing me as hell.

Yeah, it's mostly in the fanfiction section... although I've seen a few in the Wi-Fi section as well that go to both Serebii and here. I wouldn't say these two forums are closely affliated either however... probably just a migration thing so that our stories get more 'exposure'. :)
I joined here eariler this year.

Only the fanfiction forum seems to show this trend, which makes unlikely the possibility that PokéCommunity and Serebii share origins. Also, they don't appear to be exceptionally closely affiliated, or otherwise I would have discovered this forum very early, stumbling around. It's possible that expending to here is or was a trend started by a popular member or group of members, though I haven't ever heard of it. I do notice (unless my evidence is insufficient) that several SPPF members have joined here around the later end of 2007, which could support my theory. I really don't know.

Where else would one go to achieve world dominace after conquering Serebii? ;)
