Just did a quick check - new Path of Radiances are going for $160-$230 on Ebay, which is absolutely crazy for a Gamecube game. Radiant Dawns are better - could probably get a used one for $50-60, which I definitely might do after Christmas, been hearing really good things about it.

AA always does nostalgia well, loved that one case in AJ with Phoenix in the old courtroom, with the old music, and the old Gumshoe. And the references in DD as well, the DLC case had a really obscure throwback to "SPARDA - SuPer Admin Restricted Desktop Access password-protected" from Trials and Tribs that just made my day. :3

And I'm glad you recognized the cuteness that is nui. :DDDD

A character who is a perfect example of appearances being deceptive. Nui Harime from Kill la Kill. I love her design. And the fact that she is powerful enough to defeat some tough guys with just her pinky finger is another thing I love about her. Deffo my new fave character. :3

The game platforms I own are a GBA SP, Fat DS, PS3 and a laptop I don't game on, but could potentially for potato games. I mostly use the PS3, I only have 3 games though as I sold my old ones :P

Hi, thanks Aura! :) Yeah, I guess the name 'Blackquill' should've been the giveaway for the Ace Attorney love. Playing Dual Destinies right now, I've done the first three cases and just finished the DLC one yesterday. Wasn't a big fan of case 1 and 2, but I loved case 3 at the academy, and the DLC was fun too. Oh god the singing though. Trials and Tribulations is my favorite too, the final case is brilliant.

In terms of Fire Emblem I've played Awakening, Sacred Stones, Binding Blade and Fire Emblem 7, and would love to play the others. Radiant Dawn and the older ones are just so hard to find now though, still looking into possible ways of getting them without blowing $100+ on Ebay for each one. ~_~

I may have overreacted in more ways than one, GTA V is still a good game, just not quite what I expected. Nothing ever is of course, which is why the best games tend to be the ones you've never given much thought to and just happen to pick up one day. The idea of the franchise means some people will inevitably become displeased with a series if it moves too far away from the original concept. Or even if it doesn't move far enough, people get bored, you can't please them all :P

I sort of stopped looking at new games, lineups and random titles on discount in the store a long time ago and stuck to titles to literally one or two franchises I thought I could enjoy. Inevitably that enjoyment is souring. Perhaps i'd do better to be like you and try lots of different things. Imagine becoming a hermit who buys games, plays the crap out of them and then returns them to the store within the weekly period for a full refund! I think the employees would end up a bit annoyed. I've never tried renting games from proper rental places either, just because i'm guessing they'd only have boring AAA titles.

You're assuming I want to have a conversation with you ;) Sigh, that's a rude thing to say, I guess i'm just a little bit of an introvert.

The best way I can describe GTA V is that it's 1 step forward, 2 steps back. Like trying to eat a steak with chopsticks. The meat might taste nice enough but really you're just going to get annoyed at how stupid the implementation is. I wouldn't put the game on the top of your Christmas wishlist, you'll find more enjoyment to be had elsewhere. I've played it a lot, it's average with occasional streaks of genius but mostly you'll just be disappointed. GTA Online is a joke, i'm playing it but only because I've got nothing better to do. Not a terrible game overall but there are a lot of silly flaws that add up.

With the PS4 I'd only be interested in things like Watch Dogs, The Division and BF4. A 3DS sounds a little more appealing with new Pokémon and my dad found a fire emblem game on a train seat, lol :D. I want to scale back the depth of games I play so they're just that, games. Console titles can consume my life, I played BF3 from dawn til dusk, 1200hrs total :/ I don't know if I want to do that for the rest of my life...

It's the hottest one this season! Still on going.
