I know cPanel is the best control panel for hosting, but what if you have no money. I am switching to ZPanel, why?
ZPanel has alot of the same things cPanel has, plus it is free.
You may be thinking, "cPanel can have Fantastico, can ZPanel?"
The truth is, no, but it can have Zantastico, a Fantastico made just for ZPanel, and if your sitting there and saying, well cPanel has more still.
ZPanel has alot too, mostly in mods, like a reseller mod, also in skins, you can find at least 15 cPanel X skins for ZPanel.
    Long story short
    ZPanel>cPanel
What is your preference and why?
    Give me solid evidence.
And if you switch to ZPanel, depending if you own a server or not, good for you :P

    Neither. :P

Well, I'll be a n00b and say I hardly even know what a cPanel or ZPanel is.

Zpanel? I've never even heard of it. My website host dosent even use Cpanel :(

If you are serious about starting a website, and you want it to last. You should invest in a good management tool with the most features that fit your needs. I would definetely say cPanel.

Usually if you so desire, many hosting companies offer cpanel for free. However, if you do make the investment for an at home server, im sure you can afford cpanel.

I prefer cPanel, I really hate hosts that try to dress up a similar control pannel and brand it as a cPanel with a custom skin. Kinda cheap.

Im talking about if you own a server and would like to host people, cPanel costs alot of money

What was the thing we had that destroyed the server when we used it to reboot, Gweggy? I want that one :P

zpanel is a lame 9although free0 attempt at a cPanel clone.. it has some advancced fetures but is no way as polished as cPanel or even plesk..

personally i use and reccomend cpanal/WHM as a top-notch server management application.

Do you even use all those tools?

Maybe it's me, but i never really felt an overwhelming need to use all the (all be it useful at times) crap that Cpanel, Plesk or Zpanel offed. If i couldn't manage it with my own two then I didn't. Maybe it's because i never felt a great need to "manage" a server. throwing up a website is no trouble at all, even without the aid of... fantasico *coughbscough*

I remember working with cPanel but never ZPanel; since it was part of a package an old site I was part of bought from JKaizer.net, I can only assume that it's somewhat better than ZPanel. So, there's another cloudy cPanel vote....
