recently i been using action replay to get certain pokemon that u can never get unless you migrate pokemon from the other games...and no i dont do legendarys i HATE LEGENDARYS with a passion a PASSION I SAY!! especially when their hacked on wifi and shiney! X_X.....but lets continue on....i used the modifier to get certain pokemon....however i trained them legit.....no rare candies, no exp boost ....maybe 9999999 money but thats as far as i go XD

but what do u think...the pokemon maybe AR..but they were trained legit....do that count?

if a Pokemon is anyway obtained from an external deviced its 'hacked'
though i hate using that term cause some people like me dont have the time or money to go to Japan to get a pokemon

i use AR to See pokemon lol so i can look em up of GTS
so id activate Deoxys see one in the world then save but i wont catch one thats just dumb
but i need Groundon (coz i aint got ruby) so im not sure what to do lol i may just see one in the wild then try an get one of gts

all you have to do is get on the trading forum and say "hey, i want this" and you will usually get a reply. groudon is easy to obtain so should be easy to get a trader. You could also always go to gamestop and get the games you are missing to import them into your game

true but why should i spend 10£ on a game for one pokemon?

i mean i hacked a mew just for its ability to have all the HMS so i dont have to carry Bidoof for cut,Geodude for rocksmash/slide and a water pokemon for surf that leaves me travelling with 3 pokemon?
so i use Mew and taught mew, Waterfall, surf, fly and something else
so i dont have to carry around 3+ Hmslaves

The simple answer is using AR to get stuff for yourself is your own choice. Just don't take your ARed goods onto Wi-Fi and try to trade them off to the oblivious. Opinions on whether ARed Pokemon/items are legit differ from person to person, so when dealing with other people, it is best to only involve non-ARed things. But if you just AR for your own private fun, go for it. x_x

i totally agree with you.Like he and i would say, do not bring your ARed pokes to trade and most of the times battle. Some ppl would let you use them but most won't....i would accept ppl to use hacks but none of the pokes to have hacked stats, abilitys, and movesets.

i would never trade any of the AR pokemon cause i know thats wrong however as like i said before the pokemon was trained legit....the abilitys ,movesets, and stats were raised manually.....no edits of that and no illegal moves were performed.......and yes i did use them in wifi battles and got butt kicked all the same as legit.....i only draged them out of the pokedex....starting from lv 2-3...ev trained them legit and had butt kicked legit style....so far people still allow me to use them

I think any pokemon caught on AR is hacked and therefore worth nothing.

You can't be so sure If a shiny Pokemon you got from a trade is legit or hacked.
I mean, it can look real, but might not be. For example, my cousin have a shiny Deoxys, it's level 30, and says it's from Kanto. You don't know If that person used a code for shiny Pokemon, or not.

The only thing I use my AR for is to get alot of vitamins and other items (Focus Sash, Choice Items, Power Items etc)

As far as hacking goes, I make some pokemon shiny, but I never use them in battles, just want them because they look cool

Action Replays are fine. I only use them for rare Pokemon from events and stuff (living in Australia with no events isn't easy). I may use them for shinys. I don't have a WiFi (never will) so it's okay in my family to cheat. I don't see anything bad about it anyway.

why will you never have wifi? you obviously have internet access, it's not difficult to have wifi if you have internet.

I'm against hacking, because I'm against cheating, it messes with the point of the game (In my opinion). If you want to hack and you can accept the risks, ok, just don't trade hacked pokes (Unless the other person is ok with it) and don't cheat to give your pokemon perfect stats just to own people that are legit.

Im simple, infinite money won't really affect your game. You can easily get them the regular way. The thing is that when you cheat for Pokémon, it becomes more serious.

I'm against cheating in any way, but I can accept some things like money, items you can buy, etc, but you should never cheat for things you can't have (maybe starters or some items) because that's unfair for the ones who put effort in getting them.

As for your Pokémon, why not breeding them the legal way? Would it really affect you much? You can classify them as you want, but we all know they're hacked, even if they have legal stats and everything. Now, it's much worse if you hack Pokémon you wouldn't normally find.

But the thing is hate the most are 'semi-legit' Pokémon. Really, cheating is cheating, in any way you look at it, so people shouldn't make up excuses for their cheated Pokémon and just call them what they are: CHEATS.

    Good Lord SU, you didn't have to exaggerate like that o_o;

As long as the pokemon is trained in a legitimate manner, the fact that it's "hacked" will be left in the dust.

Normal stats, non-shiny, everything regular except found by using AR. Can't call that hacked now, can we?

Now, hacking legies and unobtainable pokemon...THAT'S a problem

ok when u say unobtainable pokemon what exactly are u refering to.....migrated or event pokemon?.....ill give u a hint on which pokemon i got.......i AR a vulpix then trained and evolved it legit

I have one, so I obviously think it's OK, but that's just me.

Im against hacking, but I don't mind people hacking events such as Naval Rock on GBA or
the Azure Flute on D/P as long as they're caught legit. Although im not sure about using them on wi-fi

That doesn't mean it's hacked. It's maybe just a strange Pokémon that learnt Grass Rope or whatever move you saw.

I'm against trading hacks, but I don't mind if people do it to complete stuff ingame, like their Pokedex's and such.
