Your favorite Pokémon art style

Not a topic I see brought up much, and is fun to discuss!

Pokémon has had several art styles across the franchise over the years. Notable/distinct styles being old Sugimori (watercolor, click for example) and new (the typical style most official art of individual Pokémon/trainers is in nowadays, click for example), Dream World, Cafe Mix, the anime's varying art styles, etc.

Do you have a favorite?

Probably Cafe Mix. Veers a bit too cutesy at times, admittedly. Likes the smoother coloration.

I'm honestly addicted to Cafe Remix right now because the art is just...so good!! It's really iconic and memorable, I'm glad to see people like it so much.

Also going to show some support to Sugimori's old watercolor artwork, it has a special place in my heart <3

Out of these, definitely the old Sugimori watercolors. They're just so nostalgic!

I absolutley love the little drawings they use for menu screens in the pokemon mystery dunegon games, I absolutley love them.
