Seeing as the last thread passed over the revival limit and I wanted to talk about this a bit, let's make a new one one this topic! Speaking specifically about the games here - since in the anime many areas can look vastly different - cast your vote for your favorite city! You can base it on anything - prettiest, most relevant to the plot, etc - but obviously explain your choice. Go as in-depth as you like!
Hmm, I think I really like Verdanturf Town. Obviously it's pretty tiny but I love how it looks in both the original games and ORAS - it's kinda beautiful. It's the home of one of my favorite characters, that being Wally. Besides that, I'm not sure what it is about it that makes me adore the place. Maybe it just gives off a quaint feel.
Also, oh boy do I love Humilau City. Definitely my favorite city in Unova, and it might be my favorite in the entire games - seeing as Verdanturf is technically a town. Humilau has a really funny Gym Leader, a cool design motif, and an amazing palette to match. It's probably inspired by Pacifidlog Town, but it's wayyy nicer. I love beach cities - there are a lot of really well-made ones, both in the official games and in fangames - and the concept of extending the city into the water via the wooden bridges makes the place really neat.
Now it's your turn!
