    Things that surprised me most were Dark Strike Fighter and Monster Reborn getting shafted. Then there's Solemn Judgement being Limited to 1. The thing that I might see affecting me the most is Lonefire Blossom being Semi-Limited at 2. edit And oh dear, One for One at 1 copy per deck. doiqowhohgoehgoi!!!!!!!!

    ... At this point, I can't tell if I'm grateful that Call of the Haunted being brought back.
     
    Monster Reborn being forbidden!? Why on earth would they make a card if they make them forbidden is beyond me.

    Bear in mind this is the Official Format (for tourneys, or people who like the list), the Traditional (for people who casually play) has no Forbidden cards, as they are moved to Limited. Monster Reborn is weird though... I suppose it could be a little abused (Magician of Faith, Double Spell... OK, no abused, but reused), but not enough to be Forbidden.
     
    The problem with YGO is that when new banlists come out, they do little to nothing to the tier 1 decktypes, and neuter the best tier 2 deck.

    And they wonder how the game has an unpleasable fanbase...>_>
     
    COTH has one weakness... Jinzo. I believe Jinzo is a card that most everyone has, so basically COTH is useless. Rescue Cat might affect my X-Saber deck but not too much. Monster Reborn being re-banned... COME ON WE JUST GOT IT BACK!

    Except Call of the Haunted is also weak to the same things Monster Reborn is weak to, in addition to destruction effects and the fact that it stays on the field sometimes, soaking up your precious Spell / Trap spots.
