Would the Early Bird ability half Rest's time?

I may teach my Houndoom rest if I know if it's ability, Early Bird, would make him wake up quicker from using Rest. Anyone know?

No, Rest still put's you too sleep for 2/3 turns. while restoring your health. (After you use Rest, not contious).

It is always 2. But no, Early Bird does not effect Rest.

I thought Early Bird did affect Rest.

But Flash Fire is better on Houndoom either way. Houndoom gets OHKOed by just about anything.

Early Bird is supposed to reduce Rest's Sleep Count by 1 turn.
But either way, Houndoom has not the defenses OR the HP to use Early Bird + Rest Combo. Flash Fire.
