I am thinking of putting wide lens on my walrein (fissure + Sheercold) but i would like to know how much it increases accuracy by.

NEVER us efissure and sheer cold. They suck, and they are banned anyways.

OHKO moves are banned in standard play. Wide lens raises the acc by 10% so sheer cold/fissure would be 33% acc. Big difference :/

OHKO moves are a big no-no. Wide lens should never ever ever ever be used on a Walrein. But all it says on Serebii is it increases it Slightly. I'm not sure what percantage it raises.

People said that wide lens with hyponsis raises the acc to 77% so I'm guessing 10% of the original acc. In which sheer cold/fissure would be 33% acc.

Agreed.If this isn't in competitive, you'll be better off using an Articuno Sheer Cold+Mind Reader combo.

In my point of view, Mind Reader+Sheer Cold is just wasting a turn, and two move slots. Garbage basiacally.

Yes, but it is SO much fun to use at the battle frontier and battle tower. SO much fun! Horrid in competitive though, and banned...and cheap.......and NO ONE shoukld EVER use those moves, they are garbage.

Yes...exactly. And isn't fissure AND sheer cold a bit redundant, even for haxy, ingame teams? You can always give it something more worthwhile...

I don't really want to be told that i cant use them in competetive play. I know this and its just for fun (ingame and vs friends) It is a NOVELTY. that should be ok with some that has CBblissey in their sig. I don't have WiFi anyway.

That site is lol. Wide lens is very common on gengar, to increase focus blast and hypnosis' accuracy. If you want an ingame team, these moves STILL fail, worse than tackle, NO JOKE. Really, they are n00b moves you should never use.
I don't recommend you use that site again. That descriptions controdicts itslef...lol, I loled at that. Just don't use 'em, even ingame teams laugh at that.

I am not a noob to competitive battling. Heard of Netbattle? I know what i am doing, i just couldn't find a correct figure as to how effective wide lens is. I thought asking around the forums was a good idea because i expected everyone to take my question seriously. I hardly expected to be continuously flamed and looked down upon. I shouldn't have bothered.

We were simply stating that those two moves are lol...never once did I flame you or your knowledge...I'm sure the others didn't either, though I haven't looked. ALL we said was that OHKO moves suck, that's it.
Hey, don't get all defensive on us. If you're a vetran to Netbattle, then you should know how much hax items are shunned.
All we're saying is that we advise against using it at all. However, if it's for friendlies, go right ahead.

i did state that it was only a novelty. I know that hax items like that are not tolerated and i didnt know the percentage, because i dont use it. I dont even have wide lens or the Walrein, i was merely thinking of ideas.
