Why does paper beat rock?

Because obviously scissors can't cut through a rock, but you can wrap paper around a rock and if it was alive, it would run out of oxygen and die.

Yeah.

No. What can a rock do to paper? Paper is flat enough. You can also scrunch pieces of paper together to make it bigger than the rock.

It's really cause paper dominates all. Like trees. Everything but scissors really, but that's just a minor detail.

It shouldn't beat rock, that's why the game is inherently flawed. A better variation of "Rock-Paper-Scissors" is "Tin foil-Cat-Microwave." Guess how that one works!

I guess it works just like the Starter Types of Pokemon.

Or another guess would be that Paper beats Rock because it can cover it all up. Then you won't see any sign of the rock, so it looks like the Paper "ate" the Rock.

Because paper is made from trees and everyone knows trees are better than rocks.

Paper couldn't cover rock, the rock would tear it. They needed something that scissors could beat, and that could beat rock. Paper, technically beats rock because it covers it up. SO, the rock smashes scissors, and then they needed something scissors could beat.. that could also beat rock.. Cardboard? No, how would it beat rock.. so finally paper was chosen.

Because when you take paper and grind it into a powder you get paper dust, but when you grind rocks you get dirt and gravel... And no one likes dirt nor gravel.

cause paper floats in the wind and rock just fall to the ground, full of fail.

Also, you can use paper as a towel. Try doing that with a rock!

This should be an other trivia thread :3

Because P comes before R.

Because you can eat paper, but not a rock.
