Why did Ekans and Arbok leave Team Rocket?

    I don't watch the show any more (I stopped watching after Kanto), but I found out that Jesse and James don't have Arbok and Weezing any more. Why? What happened? That really sucks because other than Pikachu and Meowth they were some of the most memorable Pokemon from the show.

    edit - I mean WEEZING and Arbok.
     
    they left because the show writers are gay and made it so Jesse and James let them to go with their families.
