4th Gen who is a good electric type pokemon in heart gold

    im not sure who i should get cause i was thinking of using pikachu as my signature pokemon, i know its over used, but know im thinking, hes a little to weak, so help please!
     
    I'd go with either Jolteon or Ampharos.
     
    I also would go with either Jolteon or Ampharos because they are strong
     
    If Pikachu is a little weak, why not go with Raichu?

    As stated before, Ampharos and Joteon are ideal choices as well (but Raichu is cuter <3).
     
    Ampharos beats the chu's any day. My Ampharos (Modest) has beaten 4 gyms singlehandedly. I'd highly recommend Ampharos, or at least Jolteon.

    Although IMO, the chu's are cuter. :3
     
    My choice would be Ampharos even though it's quite slow for an electric type. But it has the highest Sp.Attack and high defences.
     
    I'd say Lanturn, it has a great typing plus it can learn a lot of different and powerful moves like Thunderbolt, Surf & Ice Beam Which provide good type coverage.
     
    I agree on Ampharos, he's a really useful member of my team. I kinda wish I trained a Jolteon, though. *shrug* They're both great.
     
    Ampharos can learn "heal bell" in HG and SS. Did anyone notice that?

    ampharos is really strong and really awesome . flaafy too.
     
    I know loads of others have said it but I think Ampharos for two reasons:
    A - It's attacks are quite good. Eg. Signal beam
    B - Itself and it's evolutions before it are based off sheep, c'mon thats just cool.

    Plus, I've used him a few times before and he is by far the funnest electric type pokemon I've used, I dont know why though. :)
     
    I have a Jolteon on my HG team. His speed stat is off the chart as well as his special attack; the only thing I didn't like about my Jolteon was his poor learned-moves. TM's will save your life if you go with Jolteon.
     
    I mostly always get Ampharos when I start Heart Gold over. Just because you can get Mareep before the first Gym and Ampharos is pretty strong.
     
    ya i love jolteon his thunderbolt destroys everything haha
     
    I think Ampharos because of its awesome variety of attack and special attaks with high special which i always use in my heartgold.
