4th Gen Who do you think is the main (And when I main,I mean MAIN) character in Pokemon D/P/P

Hi guys,who do you think is the real main character in Pokemon Diamond,Pearl and Platinum?
This would be a poll and I'll try to give out the answers in 1 week.
*Not sure wheter there'll be responds but I'm posting this up*

If I have to say only in game I'd bet on Lucas.
But since Hikari has anime appearance, main one I have to say, I'd vote for her
But I'm voting for Lucas because we're only talkin' 'bout game

It's both Lucas and Dawn. If you chose the boy then of course, he will be everywhere. If you chose Dawn, she'll be everywhere. So technically whoever you choose, is going to be the main character in the game. Therefore, Dawn is not the main character over Lucas or vice versa.

Anime : Dawn

Any btw do notice that all the girl characters in all the Pokemon Seasons are all Pokemon Coordinators (Besides Misty though)

I have only played as Dawn so far.
but if I included the game and the show
I would say Dawn is the main character
since she is one of the main characters
in the show.

I haven't been keeping up with my pokemon however I do believe that the true MAIN character is Dawn... *Sighs*

Dawn. She is represented in the anime and all and her Piplup has made a name for itself, partially rivaling Pikachu.

I prefer Dawn as the main character. It's because She is the main character in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl TV Series. And Lucas is not in there. But sometimes Lucas appears in the cameo's of the movie i think it was Movie 12?. But still They are the characters of Pokemon Diamond Pearl and Platinum.

I think it's Lucas. (and I play as Dawn).

In the anime, Dawn is a Pokémon coordinater, and in the game, she appears the same way. I think Lucas has always came across to me as the Pokémon trainer, and that is what the game is about.

Dawn in the anime means nothing. If Misty had been the main character instead of Ash from day one, then I'm sure that Lucas would have been the tag along instead of ash and Dawn.

Think of it from that angle, you can't really include the anime if this question is about the game. :)

For me its Lucas as we are talking about the game. If it would have been the anime that we would have been talking about then I would choose Dawn.
