Which Pokemon are/were in your army within Pokemon Conquest?

    Well Syd said I could make this stuff into separate threads, so yayyyyy!!!

    Anyway so throughout story mode of Conquest you put together an army, and generally you have a "main" army of six Pokemon/six people. Who's in yours - who do you find performs the best, and do you switch around your main army often? And if you've finished, who was in your final army against Nobunaga's Rayquaza? Discuss!
     
    I would juggle between about 12-15 main Pokemon. I always switched depending on the situation, as it made the game much smoother.

    Against Nobunaga I had:

    - Umbreon (which changed to Arceus, of course)
    - Garchomp
    - Darmanitan
    - Gallade
    - Rhyperior
    - Lucario

    Oh awesome, I used Darmanitan too! I found the Detox ability for me to be like mega useful. For the whole thing I used the same six - being

    Glaceon
    Wigglytuff
    Emboar
    Darmanitan
    Staraptor
    Simipour

    I found that although I had two fire types they were like... so handy because fire blast basically destroyed everything lool. As for Staraptor the old one I had didn't have a good link (everything had around a 60-70 link) and as a result I had to get another in order to evolve it to the final one. :(

    Darumaka evolves when his attack stat is at 110 and then wins a battle.

    My Team was:

    Vaporeon
    Exedrill
    Darmanitan
    Gallade
    Cronkelldorr
    Alakasam

    Special Credit goes to Exedrill and Gyados who carried my entire nation in the Hideyoshi Post-Game Episode!
     
    I had
    Glaceon/Arceus
    Haxorus (Oichi - 80% link)
    Gallade (100%)
    Froslass (Aya - 80%)
    Excadrill (70%)
    Conkeldurr (76%)

    I was sad I couldn't take my Gyarados which had like 653 power after taking part in almost all battles. Love the game :)
     
    Well during the course of the game I switch my warriors according to what I'm facing. I remember soloing with a Charizard at Avia when it was invaded... Since then, I knew Avia is my domain. Never lost a battle there :D

    By the time I had to face Nobunaga, my final army consists of:

    - Eevee/Arceus (I was too lazy to raise its attack, so... yeah.)
    - Wigglytuff (duh.)
    - Samurott
    - Serperior
    - Charizard
    - Beartic (I finally managed to recruit Aya before the battle at Dragnor, so her Cubchoo immediately evolved after a random battle. P: )
     
    Hey guys, do you remember which warriors had which Pokémon?
    I'm kinda interested who were your warrior partners =D

    Jolteon/Arceus - myself
    Charizard - Takatora (normal warrior)
    Rhyperior - Shingen (warlord)
    Gallade - Kenshin (warlord)
    Darumakka - the first guy you recruit, I don't remember his name... (normal warrior)
    Simipour - Sorin (normal warrior)

    I couldn't have recruited any warlords or famous warriors beside Shingen and Kenshin that automatically joined so my team was half "yellow" and half "gray" =D

    But all that changed in hero's episode where I recruited every "yellow" warrior I met =D And also in post-game episodes where recruiting "yellow" warriors was kinda easier =D

    Yeah this was before Serebii had all that information so my bad. By the time the dude's little red ball of death got that much attack, the link was basically the same level.

    I think I had the same trainers you had, just Oichi had Garchomp.
     
    It's hard to remember exactly, since my annoying little nephew deleted my save file, but it was something like this...

    It's not that hard to get them again :)
    Jolteon, Wiggly, Gallade and Rhyperior are almost for free so you just need to get Charizard and Zuruzukin which isn't that hard if you get them soon :)
     
    Today, I've re-played the main story just for fun and I finally got the hang of recruiting warlords in the main story =D
    It's interesting that you cannot recruit every non-Nobunaga warlord =D Because you cannot get Motochika and Motonari without the Wi-Fi episode.
    But I was able to recruit 12 (including me and Oichi) warlords/junior warriors (me, Oichi, Kenshin, Shingen, Ginchiyo, Yoshihiro, Yoshimoto, Kunoichi, Yukimaru, Kanetsugu, Aya and Muneshige)
    And in the end these 6 were the chosen ones =)

    Me + Glaceon/Arceus
    Oichi + Dragonite
    Shingen + Rhyperior
    Kenshin + Gallade
    Yukimura + Darmanitan
    Kunoichi + Scrafty

    I also found out that even if you fulfil the conditions needed for a warlord to evolve, they simply won't evolve in the main story :D So the player is the only one capable of evolving in the main story =D
    Also I found out that the Darumakka guy is not scripted as your first partner... it seems to be random Fire warrior =) Because I did not get him as the first partner and I got Takatora (which was the one I had in my first playthrough with Charizard)
