Which is Better Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Firered?

I will go with Ruby but how they are alike.

I'm really stuck in the middle on these 2. I love both games almost equally. I love Ruby because that's my main game with all 382 obtainable Pokemon on it, and I use it as my main game with almost 360 hours on it. I love Fire Red because I just love the old Kanto, and how you start and the adventure, and just the overall classic Pokemon game.

But for this Poll, I will go with Ruby, since I have more done on it, and more time put into it. :P

It is impossible to choose between the two, as they are games of different generations. Ruby is new and original, whereas Fire Red is old and original. There is nothing wrong with old and original, it is actually better in this case. But to choose is impossible. If it where between Ruby and Sapphire, or Fire Red and Leaf Green, it would be different.

I like Ruby (well I like Sapphire the best, but that's not an option, and Ruby is almost the same as Sapphire) because Ruby just has an all around better design than FireRed (and I'm not talking about the box, I'm talking about the actual game lol XD). Ruby is also easier to navigate.

I love ruby, the fact that you can catch Latias which isnt good, but you can catch Groudon. which is the best :D but I like firered the fact that it has the islands, and its a challenge cause the mysteries of having to get plates in the islands, and in order to get them you have to beat the elite 4, and so that way everything leads to another, which is good so your not really bored.

I like ruby more because of the contests, but I like leafgreen because of the union room. They both have great pokemon, though leafgreens pokemon are just a little better ;) Overall a tie.

The remake of original Pokemon Game Red is the best! FireRed rocked me!
