3rd Gen Where do I find Relicanth?

    Dad here. I'm trying to help my son find a Relicanth. I'm not versed in Pokemon, but I thought for sure that this board could help us.

    According to the Training Manual for Ruby/Sapphire on page 147, we're in the Regi and need to put a Relicanth in front of our party. However, my son doesn't know where to find a Relicanth.

    Any help?

    Ugh, relicanth is almost as hard to catch as feebas. Use dive and go through the seaweed just outside sootopolis, preferably the group near the entrance to sootopolis. I've only encountered him once, and he was there. Be patient though, because he has aproxomately 1% chance of appearing.
     
    WOW!,I'ev never seen this befor.I'm Mike(Michael) and I wuold be happy to help.You can find it on route 124,125,126.You have to know how to Surf-(HM 3) and Dive-(HM 8),go to any dark water area,and use dive,swim around tell you find Relicanth.And good luck on the Regi's(I have 2 of each Regi).And if you ever need any help,just ask.Glad I could help,and tell your son hi for me.Hope this helps!
