[Sword & Shield] Where are the Secrets?

Every other Pokemon game that I've played (and I have played every single game from the Red and Blue versions) has had quite a few secrets in the game, secret locations, secret Pokemon, but in these games, per game, there are only even two legendaries, and no secret caves, no caves hardly at all, no secret locations, no islands, no other legendaries. The game is about as straight as an arrow where the content is concerned and I'm trying to figure out how people feel about this. Anyone know if some kind of additional content for these games is to be released in the future, or is this the full extent of these two releases?

At this point, they have moved on to the next game. They have said they have to intention to release DLC and they are NOT looking to make Let's Go Johto games. So they are probably already working on the new game.

As far as I know, they haven't even bothered to fix bugs that game with the game. We will have limited time Wild Events, but that is probably about it.

If other video games are to go on, we get a DLC pass for all games that have planned content that we can buy. Zelda, Fire Emblem, Smash, and Xenoblade, they all had DLC passes. This tells me that Sword and SHield will not have DLC and instead, they will just make another 3rd version like always and sell it for $60 to get more money for very little new stuff.

Its such crap. There are not even any caves in the game theres like 1 cave that lasts 5 minutes. This game feels like it was designed for the mind of a ten year old. There is no challenge anywhere apart from the difficulty of a Pokemon battle itself if you get a bad match up. Beyond that there is nothing. Post game there's no secret new unlocked caves or an island or a new location its the same 4 minute foggy forest we already fully explored at the beginning of the game. I feel like this game is a sign of the times for gaming. Take a look at Pokemon in the 90s and then now. This has to be one of the laziest creations of the Pokemon universe ever so far.
