When should I evolve Scyther into Scizor, before level 26 since at 26 Scizor learns Steel Claw, or should I wait and let Scyther raise its speed, and then evolve to have a faster Scizor?

well you can always use speed up things (forget there name..) or put iron claw as a item after you evolve it so you go first...........

so i say evolve it now ^^

It's your choice. If you really want Scizor to learn Metal Claw, then be sure to evolve Scyther before hitting level 26, or Scizor won't learn it.

its all up to u becuase its yur pokemon but i prefer evolving lol

which is better, wing attack or steel claw, even though both are probably bad, and should I learn agility so I will have no problem with speed, and double team or just agility

    he should have this
    Metal Claw
    agility
    wing attack
    double team\fury cutter

how can he know both wing attack and metal claw, maybe there is a way in R/S but I am using G/S

Evolve Scyther at the level when it learns wing attack. Then after the trade it will immediately learn metal claw. However, both attacks are terrible anyway...

And also, you could have just asked this question in the other scyther/scizor thread... so next time if you got a question that's related to the topic at hand of that thread, you can just ask it there.

    forgotton one thing: silver wind
it may be a weaker attack, but STAB and 10% chance of raisng all abilites...

I'd rather have HP Bug over Silver Wind for Scyther/Scizor, the 10% chance to raise all stats is a bit useless when he can't take advantage of all of them (unless you make Scyther a Baton Passer, but even then it's not something you can rely on like Agility or Swords Dance)

Toothache is right. A standard beat moveset for scyther is very noobish. The baton passer version is okay, but I prefer him as a physical sweeper. Scizor is a horrible evolution,IMO, but if you want to use him it's your call. I don't like the idea of sacrificing some of his attack power and speed for some defense and special defense. One good hit of fire and it's lights out. Rock isn't as commonly used, so Scyther doesn't see his 4x weakness nearly as much. I'd go with Scyther. Here is the berst moveset:

    Swords Dance
    Silver Wind
    Return
    Hidden Power: Fighting

It's a pain to get Silver Wind and Hidden Power: Fighting is even worse, but it's worth it in the end. Scyther with these is a force to be reckoned with. If you don't want to try and get Silver Wind and HP: Fighting, go with Fury Cutter and Agility.

Evole him after he learns Falseswipe,i know the attack sucks, but it's good when he gets stronger and your looking for weaker pokemon of course.

Rocket I don't think you are right in what you said about Scizor check out these https://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/212.shtml

As you see, Scyther +speed, =special attack and defense

Scizor +attack, defense, =special attack and defense

and scizor can have agility and sword dance (i know syther can learn both too, but that still puts him at a defense disatvantage) so I think scizor is over all better, and IMO he looks cooler to boot

The thing that makes Scizor awesome is that he has only ONE weakness while Scyther has many (fire, rock, electric, ice, the element ones being common).

One thing that you must remember about Scyther vs Scizor is that Scyther, quite often, doesn't need Agility if you're sweeping with it, since it has quite the speed as it is, and if it has Salac, then it poses a big problem for the enemy. Scizor, on the other hand, MUST have Agility to be able to speedsweep, but it might Baton pass just that little bit better with a base 100 defense.

But come on, Scyther looks awesome.
