What RPG games for Nintendo DS do you recommend me to play?

Well, they really don't have very many good ones, but from the few I played I would have to say, Sonic Chronicals: Dark Brotherhood, cause its awesome, haha

Dragon Quest is good. I like Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker. I've never played it but some of my friends have it. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is great too! ^_^
EDIT: Oh, How could I forget Final Fantasy :D Awesome RPG right there :D. You can also wait until Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days comes out.
 
Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, are your best bet, they're great. n____n.

There arent that many good RPG titles for the NDS, but these should be good to start off with.

But guys, I don't think Fire Emblem is classified as an RPG, i think it's considered strategy =/
 
I got WEWY, it's awesome. The characters are awesome, the story is awesome, the ramen is apparently awesome, and the battle system is certainly different enough (It's also awesome. XD).
For the DS, RPGs seem to actually be quite limited, but there's still gems. The SquEnix games are all good, and I'm sure KH358/2 and Blood of Bahamut will be too...
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is pretty good too. Haven't played Chrono, or Fire Emblem or Blue Dragon, but I've been hearing mainly good things about them.

I also forgot about Devil Survivor. It looks good, but I'm still a bit of a sucker for anything with Shibuya in it... Still, DS's communicating with demons seems interesting enough...

Would Megaman Starforce be a RPG? The first one is good. But the second one really, really sucked. And the newest one, 3, was rockin, 'bout as good as BN 3.
 
Well, people have already mentioned the obvious ones. Some not-so-obvious ones would be Rune Factory (probably because it's also part simulation), Etrian Odyssey (and 2), and Heroes of Mana.

And here are some ones that show promise or just haven't been released yet. Dragon Quest IX, The Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden, and The Another World.
 
Definitely try the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series and I heard the World Ends With You is a great RPG game ;)
 
I can't recommend The World Ends with You enough. It was my game of the year for 2008. One of the most original RPGs I've ever played, and one of the best.
It's really hard to get into, and it has a really steep learning curve that will make you hate the game the first couple hours you play it. But stick with it and it's extremely good.
 
I honestly didn't find TWEWY that good. It's a great game that's worth a play, but I think it's over-hyped.
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is great game, but it's tough as hell and needs some dedication to play. You could go with Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time if you're up for something a bit out of the ordinary.

If you have GBA access, I strongly suggest Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, which is one of my favourite games of all time.
 
Get a Fire Emblem Game and your sorted..The GBA versions included...Fire Emblem 7 is the best game ever.

Chrono Trigger, TWEWY, and (when it's released in English) Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days get my votes.

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is also pretty good for a dungeon crawler if you don't mind those.
