    My guesses
    Zapdos
    Articuno
    Moltres
    Darkrai
    Dialga
    Palkia
    Girantina
    The 3 lions
    Hooh
    Lugia
    Reshiram
    Zekrom
    And all the Kyroms

I think it's more likely we will see some legendaries receive Alola Forms, it seems that they're the focus for S/M rather than Mega Evolution. I'm not saying that there will be no new Mega Evolutions, but if any Pokemon were to receive new Megas then I'd say it would be a handful non-legendary Pokemon. It's possible that Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will all receive Alola Forms, but I can't really see them getting megas/primals.

No reason to think any will because idk the storyline.

Assuming mega evolution returns to Generation 7, and having played Doubles Uber and VGC 16 a lot this year, I think these could definitely use the mega pump:

Dialga is a title legend, theoretically on the same power gradient as Mewtwo and friends, and yet it can't effectively OHKO Xerneas with a super effective Flash Cannon or Iron Head.

Palkia's bulk and support move set are both impressive, but it struggles to deal significant damage to many things within its class.

Giratina, in spite of being the big bad wolf of Gen IV, has an unfavorable typing against all of the Generation VI legends, and insufficient speed to make up for it.

Please no Mega Zapdos. That thing would be the stuff of nightmares.

I would have to agree with Angie here. If anyone were to get a Mega this generation, Magearna would be the top contender imo. I do think of Magearna as the Diancie of this generation. If we're going off already released Pokemon, I do think the Legendary Birds would also be top contenders for Alolan formes.

I kinda dislike the fact that legendary Pokemon can get mega evolve because... they are already superior than any other Pokemon, mega evolve makes them even more "unfair" than other Pokemon for me.

But the introduction of primal evolution though, for me that opens up the reason for legendary Pokemon to get stronger. "Their poteential power back in ancient times is something horrific!"
So in my case I gotta say Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus gets a primal evolution, and beat the crap out of other poor normal Pokemon citizens.

I'm with Blue and Bobdapeach here, I just can't see any legendaries getting Megas or Primals this generation. Primal Reversion is something that should be unique to just Kyogre and Groudon, plus while we have some legendaries with Mega Evolution, we don't have very much of them.

There's also the fact Mega Evolution likely won't be the focus of Sun & Moon's plot so it wouldn't be surprising if we had no new Megas introduced.

I doubt that many legends would get anything, currently we have 2 mewtwo megas, 2 primals, the eon duo megas, Rayquaza, and Diancie. The number you have listed is more then all of those combined :p

I don't think we'll see this concept again... Not only any of these Pokemon fit with a primal version, but I think the new games will ditch the past. For exemple, no new mega.

Game Freak might as well give them all Primals, in that scenario. Tip-toeing around one mechanic and calling it another doesn't appear (to me) to make it drastically different (although you can argue Alola forms fall into this to some degree); I think it'd serve to only confuse players who are already exposed to other forum changes, etc.

Sorry for the misunderstanding that I caused... It doesn't have to be identical on how Primal Reversion works... I mean, just like Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion... They are similar but they have difference...

I don't think there will be any new Primal Reversion/Mega Evolution this generation, since we haven't had a clue about any new Mega. The thing is, if a Legendary Pokémon is going to get a Primal Reversion, I can only imagine it will be Arceus... Or even Palkia, Dialga and Giratina, since they are the ones who helped shape the universe! They are more ancient than Kyogre and Groudon, so it kinda makes sense them having Primal forms!

I'd argue they're more likely to get a Mega, actually. Groudon and Kyogre were weakened over the course of time, so Primal Reversion... reverts them to their primal, more powerful form. But Pokémon such as Dialga and Palkia, who control space and time itself, being weakened over time, I can't imagine. By controlling time, they aren't affected by it--time is affected by them, rather. Unless they literally took a different form in the past and for some reason changed, but they'd need a pretty hefty lore change to account for it.

If any are going to get it, I could see the two mascot legendaries getting a Mega Evolution, and maybe some of the other legendary Pokes like Tapu Koko. Seems like Alola Formes and Z Moves are the main focus for this gen though, so even if any Pokémon get it, it probably won't be a big plot point like in X/Y and OR/AS. I could see it as just a post-game or event-exclusive thing for some Pokes.

If we get mega evolutions at all in Sun and Moon I expect (legendary wise) the mascot Pokemon will get megas and perhaps the bird trio from Gen 1 (yes more Generation One fan service). I think Alolan form legendaries is an interesting thought, we know from the anime -obviously the anime and games aren't the same but it could still be viable - that there are more than one of each legendary Pokemon and we have seen legendaries in different regions in the games before so they might adapt to Alola and receive a new form.

I'm not sure if S/M will have many primal evolutions. The only ones we've seen so far are Groudon, Kyogre and Dialga. And Dialga's wasn't even in the main series.
There may be a few megas since we've seen a lot of those. Hopefully some megas for older legends with some more lore.
Maybe if they remake gen 4, we'll get some more primals for Palkia and Giratina and maybe some callbacks to gen 1 and 2. Only time will tell though.
