    everywhere i read it says chimecho comes after deoxys, i try to look up national numbers, i would always get the pokemon after it because chimecho's slot was removed and put at the end.

    whos idea was it to put him at the end of the dex?

    Sorry, no answer to the real question but who cares if he comes after DEOXYS. It's not like chimecho requires deoxys to appear, there's no point in asking this question?

    Those are probably the most reliable Pokemon sources on the web (especially Serebii)

    Yeah, but check out the trivia at the bottom of Chimecho's Bulbapedia page. Even they think it's after Deoxys, despite the fact that they have it listed between Tropius and Absol.

    no no no the real pokedex number is ok, i am talking about almost every other place that lists the dex, the places i see it most often is when hacking/searching for action replay cheats

    I remember when Ruby and Sapphire first come out and I seen Jirachi, Deoxys, then Chimecho at the end of the 202 Hoenn dex list on all the Action Replay code websites.
