Hello. I have a card with an attack: this attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter on this pokemon. But I don't get it, because I have damage dice, and there is a dice with 10 - 60 and there's a dice with 120 - 180, that way that until 180 there is only one dice on the pokemon, so I was confused because if damage counters are the dice, the attack above attacks 10 damage if it has less than 180 damage herself. So do damage counters mean 10 damage ? ( Meaning that the attack above attacks the damage it has herself? ).
    Thannk you in advance.

I'd interpret it as "10 more damage for every 10 damage on this Pokémon", since old-school damage counters (the little chips you pop out of a frame) are usually worth 10 damage a piece. Is it an older card by any chance?

First of all thank you very much. No, it isn't an old pokemon, it's from the sword and shield addition.

So, damage counters are specifically to mark 10 damage each in the terminology of the rules. It's confusing at first but it's used to prevent really awkward wording like "for every 10 damage on this Pokemon, this attack does X more damage". Damage counter dice are used more frequently because it's time consuming to use the individual damage counters that represent 10 damage each.
