What Color Is Pokemon Blood?

    I have wondered about this since I first began watching the show... What color is pokemon blood? This is a serious question. The show never showed any pokemon cut or bleeding.
     
    Probably red since that's the color of most animal blood.

    If you look at Ghost Pokemon though, they probably won't have any since they're an apparition and live as a spirit and not in a present body.

    Bugs would also not have blood, more like body juices. Like if you squish a fly. It has no blood, but it's innards go everywhere.

    I can't say about Dragons since they're believed to be mythological, but I would guess red blood since they're an obvious animal.

    Metagross, Magnezone, and similar Pokémon have been described as having special magnetic forces flowing through the veins in their body rather then blood. Catcturne's blood has been described as being made of the same materials as sand, which means either it has very, very, very fine sand for blood, or it's body contains liquid silicon. Pokémon like Shedinja, Porygon, and Registeel are said to not only be hollow, but also seem to have a non-existent internal organ system. Pikachu and more typical Mammalian Pokémon are likely to contain "red", traditional blood.

    Well, not all Pokemons are what one might call "mammals."

    Personally, I do agree that Ghost Pokemons and Bug Pokemons are excluded out of this. Dragon Pokemons might as well have rainbow-colored blood because they're that mystical.
     
    Depends on the Pokemon, really.
    Animal pokemon and humanshape have red.
    Some bugs and fish, though, have body juices.
    And as for some pokemon that is rock-like or ghost, it doesn't have any, since one is a rock and other a spirit.
    Now for dragons, probably is the same red, since dragons for me, are reptiles with mystical powers.
     
    For animal-based Pokemon: red, like humans and real world animals.
    For plant-based Pokemon: green (to represent the chlorophyll present in their bodies)
    For ghost-based Pokemon: purple/black (ectoplasmic).
     
    Whew,Thats Tough.
    Fire Types: Extremely Red.
    Water Types:Blue,but slightly red.
    Electric Types:Red with Electrical pulses in it.
    Dragon:Rainbow.
    Rock:Greyish Red,and slightly Hardened.
    Steel: Greyish Red,and more hardened than Rock.
    Ghost:Ectoplasm.
    Ground:The Blobs Rumble a little bit.
    ???(Cheating with Arceus to make a ??? plate):Ectoplasmic greenish grey blobs pulsing Powerful Energy(Thats why Arceus is the only Pokemon Capable,even though it is only obtained via CHEAT.)

    I think for the most part a Pokemon's blood is red. Although I suppose bug and ghost types would be a bit different as others have said before me. The one thing with ghost Pokemon that I've never fully understood is if by ghost do we mean they are truly dead and only in spirit form or are they called ghost Pokemon because they have ghost like qualities?

    Either way most ghost Pokemon don't seem like they have a definite body. At least my interpretation of them is a gaseous form. Although I think that may be from years of there only being the Gastly line. Plus Dusknoir's weight of over 200lbs sways my thought, but I suppose it may not apply to all ghost types.

    Another problem that arises though is that even Pokemon within certain types may not have blood or red blood in them while another Pokemon within that same type does. An example would be Magnemite compared to Aggron. Magnemite is pretty much a magnet so I don't believe it has the ability to bleed true blood. While Aggron who is also a steel type seems to actually have flesh beneath its hard outer body. So I would think Aggron can bleed and may bleed red blood.

    I think I'm probably over analyzing this, but I might as well for the sake of conversation. :)
     
    I'd say red for most of the Pokémon that resemble real animals, green for a lot of grass types, and I don't think ghost types such as Ghastly have blood.
     
    Red for most of the "animal-like" Pokemon, black/brown (think oil) for most of the "mechanical" ones, and it's entirely possible that Ghosts don't have any blood at all.

    As for any types I haven't mentioned, I honestly couldn't begin to speculate. Though I'm tempted to stick dragons in the "red blood" category, just because it seems most logical to me.

    machines can bleed? I mean I can see Skarmory or Fortress maybe since they are based on real anmals but what about Magnezone or Metagross, lol.
     
    Blood is blue when in the body, but when exposed to oxygen turns red. Thus when we get a cut and start bleeding, we see red blood. The same applies to animals and probably would apply to Pokemon. But all they really show is dirt and scratches, never anything serious in terms of wounds.
     
    im gonna say purple. because i can without any sort of logic, because pokemon has zero logic
     
    So if one was to make a pokemon shooter game, the blood would have to match the pokemon?
