4th Gen VS Seeker

I've found myself using this item quite a lot in my current play-through of Pokémon Platinum. Did you use the VS Seeker in the Sinnoh games? And would you like to see it return in future games?

The VS Seeker lets you re-battle any trainer (unless they are in a cave or in a building, or a member of Team Galactic). Its a good way to get Pokédollars and to grind your team at the same time.

It also appeared in Fire Red/Leaf Green.

Of all the Pokemon games' "gadgets," the Vs. Seeker is by far my favorite. Since trainer Pokemon usually provide more experience than the wild ones in the same area, plus the "earning money" factor, I was using the Vs. Seeker constantly in Leaf Green, Platinum, and Pearl. It's one thing that I desperately want them to bring back - only having a few select trainers who want to rematch doesn't cut it for me, I want to rematch ALL the trainers lol

I used the VS Seeker in the Gen 3 remakes. I think it's one of the best improved features of the original, because when you finish Red/Blue there's nobody left to fight besides the Elite Four and wild Pokemon.

criminally underrated that for whatever reason wasn't brought back to modern games. it really bummed me out that some of the more recent (haven't started on SwSh yet so idk about those games) games don't have you rematching regular trainers. ._. this was brought back in spirit somewhat with Trainers Eye function of the PokeNav, but then ditched again in later games. it's a shame because it really helped with level grinding.
