Visual Boy Advanced Running in the Background?

    How exactly do I make it do this? Like just so I can hear the music while it's in the background..
     
    You can disable the pause while off screen switch, or something

    However, it will still react as if you were normally playing it - Every time you typed a space the music would speed up, and if you hit z it would count as hitting a (Unless you change your control scheme)
     
    You can have VBA run when it's not an active window, but it doesn't play any sounds.

    To have it run in the background go to Options -> Emulator then uncheck Pause when inactive window.
